This bulb is a perfect replacement for the one that came with the bug zapper that I bought on here last year. It looks enticing to the annoying little sods and kills them quickly, with only the quietest "zap!" sound when one of them gets a bit too close to it. The brightness isn't so bright that it causes my eyes to hurt when I sit in the room with no other lights on, but is bright enough to do the job it's intended for. All in all, it's really good value for money and will remain in my "household stuff" list for when I need to buy another.

Works great! Plug and play. Be sure to clean your zapper before installing the new lamp. The lamp attracts the gnats, moths, mosquitoes really well.
