RKX Replacement Gas Cap Fuel Seal Compatible with BMW/Mini Cooper

This O ring was the easiest part to replace. The fit was perfect and resolved my issue.

Perfect fit for a 2005 Mini Cooper R50 (2001 to 2006). Rubber is flexible like the original.

My gas cap was deteriorating and I purchased a new gas cap, unfortunately it kept throwing a check engine light. I purchased this to go on my OEM part and it has worked without any issues, no check engine light. If you need a new o-ring for your OEM gas cap this is a great replacement.

While it didn’t resolve the evap error code on my 2012 Mini Cooper I was happy with how well it fit and how easy it was to install. It was an inexpensive attempt to resolve the issue.

Good replacement for the original fuel cap seal. Was getting a engine light for a "small evap leak" for a few days. This replacement fixed the problem. Bmw e46 2003

Any BMW E90/91/92/93 gas cap OEM or equivalent can have vacuum seal issue and "check gas cap" error messages. This seal is made of a different black rubber material and seems to be a slightly thicker. Easy swap out in minutes. My new fuel cap from BMW dealer was not sealing properly (bought 2 of them from different dealers - same confirmed part number). The seal is complete now and error messages have stopped!
