I take size 10, so ordered the M 10-13. They fit nice, but no way a size 12 would fit in these socks. So, they do fit on the small size. On positive side, they are comfortable. Wore them in hiking boots and they not only kept my feet warm and dry, but the little padding they have makes the sock very comfortable to wear. These are actually waterproof! I work for Amazon and I walk an average of 8 to 12 miles a shift. It is winter and my shoes are not waterproof. I wore these socks all last week in slush, snow, thru puddles and my feet were always dry by the end of the day. I highly recommend these!

These socks are 100% waterproof even if you walking without shoes your feet will be dry
