Crystal-Clear Water with Easy Setup
I installed the FS-TFC 5-Stage Reverse Osmosis System under my kitchen sink, and the results have been outstanding. The water tastes noticeably better — no chlorine smell, no metallic aftertaste — just clean, refreshing water perfect for drinking, cooking, and even brewing coffee. Setup was surprisingly simple. The instructions were clear, and I didn’t need professional help. The compact design fits easily under the sink, and the 100GPD fast flow rate means I never run out of filtered water. I also appreciate the extra set of filters included — a thoughtful touch that saves money down the line. The system removes up to 99% of contaminants, including fluoride, lead, arsenic, and heavy metals. The wastewater ratio is about 3:1, which is standard for RO systems, and the filters last 6–12 months depending on usage. If you’re looking for a reliable, affordable reverse osmosis system that doesn’t take up much space and delivers excellent water quality, this one’s a winner.

Amazing water; Easy to install
I’m not often this impressed, but I gotta say I AM with this under-sink RO system! I bought a house in the country thats on well water, and while the water tested great, its hard water with a lot of calcium in it. The calcium deposits leave behind a a grainy/crystalized powder that ruined a Kurg coffee maker and an Ice Maker and we also discovered that my wife has a sensitivity to the heavy calcium and it has caused some health issues for her. I priced out a whole home system, but thats out of my budget. I discovered these under-sink systems that I can install myself and were WAY more affordable. I chose this system because it was the most compact 5 stage RO system I could find. This kitchen hasen’t been remodeled since the early 90’s and i have limited space under the sink. Installation was EASY, took less then 2 hours, and the kit contained everything needed (except for a few basic hand tools; drill, crescent wrench, and a few wood screws). After turning the water back on and checking for leaks (none) it took about 2 hours for the system to fully fill up (my well is set to 45/80 psi), then a quick system flush…. And now we have beautiful, clean, healthy RO water, and it tastes Great! Good for my appliances and healthier for my wife. Home Run! All from a kit for under $150.00 AND it came with a set of replacement filters to!

Very very pleased with this system RV installed with Kangen k8
I was a bit skeptical of how this was going to work or even if it would. I am a commercial appliance installer and find my way around with pretty much everything and believe that patience is important on this installation. I wanted a machine that had enough water flow to not cause my Leveluk K8 machine to get the low water volume error and thought it was a bit of a gamble on achieving this. My RV sits currently at a site which has substantial water pressure which ranges from 75 to 90 pounds. At first I had an issue with getting the tank to fill but learned there was air trapped in the RO cylinder. This problem was resolved by leaning the assembly of filter to the right and to the left and you will here the air purge if such instance occurs. I have not tried using this with the 45 psi RV pump but will do so at some point. I believe that removing some air from an emptied tank down to 5psi would still allow filling tank. That would probably then take it much longer than the 45 minutes which it currently is taking to fill. I am currently able to fill the tank empty of water with an air pressure of 8 psi which gives great water flow once full of water. I also filled it with only 5 psi and was still able to achieve enough water flow to run the k8. There certainly is no issue with water flow volume and is more than plentiful to run water to gather nearly a gallon of kangen water but no more than. This is perfect IMO. The instructions says to drill a hole 1/2 inch for the faucet which is definitely much larger than needs to be. I went much smaller just to satisfy my OCD and the event that I wish to remove and plug hole at some time in the future. I doubt that will be the case though. I used a bit size 7/8 for the faucet and it was a perfect hole size. It has taken about 4 full tanks being flushed before the odd taste is removed. I also read that the drain water keeps running on some reviews though I am not having such an issue as I have been checking it often to the point that I am now confident that it is working with zero issues. Well done with an excellent price.

low quality connector parts
We installed this system, and the feed connector broke so I bought an APEC System ( only cuz it was the only system that arrive in a few hours ) and I was able to replace the feed connector from the APEC system and that worked with the FS-TFC system and I continued to use the rest of the FS-TFC parts until we started to draw water from the new faucet. At this point, the second thing that didn't work was the connector that was applied to the water tank. We couldn't get it to stop leaking so I grabbed the connector from the APEC system, and it immediately stopped leaking. After we uses the FS-TFC filters for a while, I'll just swap out the filter pack from the APEC system so that I don't lose the money that I spent on the FS-TFC. ( get some use out of it at least ) I'm happy that the parts were interchangeable and I'll try the iSpring system next. I'm not sure which one is the best and I only ordered the APEC because it would arrive the same day and I wanted to finish installing the RO system and this was my first time to install the system. Clearly, other systems use more quality parts and cause less of a headache.

Important, please read! Could save you $$
I purchased this system for our family of 3, plus pets and plants. I installed it under the kitchen sink along with a couple of other components, but I quickly learned a few things to help others with if its your first time or if it's been a while. I broke it apart into sections so skip to what you need or read all three. It's not too overly verbose :) The sections are - this product kit itself, the installation of the system, and optional components that will improve your system's efficiency, meaning you waste less water through the filtration process itself. 10 second version on how RO works: High pressure water is prefiltered and then pushed into an RO membrane - which is the reverse osmosis filter, with a pore size of approximately 0.0001 micron. That's nerd talk for super filter. After an additional filter, it can go right to the spigot for drinking, or you can run it through a mineralizer first - that's what gives it that nice, mountain spring water like taste. Notes on the RO Kit (Reverse Osmosis): Great price for the components, extra filters is great. The TANK - please DO NOT adjust the pressure by pushing in on the bike tire looking relief valve at the bottom of the tank. It's pre-set to the right pressure from their factory. It uses a bladder to help pressurize your water in the tank to deliver it more quickly to the spigot. --There is a connector piece with blue release tabs - the rest of the normal connectors are white. The blue one is your ONE WAY CHECK VALVE, and should be installed correctly already. I moved the position of mine when replumbing to be on the outlet side of the 5th filter. --The filter 'brackets' for mounting them are pretty flimsy, consider mounting or zip-tie into place. --- This Kit does create a lot of condensation on the bottom three filters, enough so that I had to make a drain trough. --- There IS an automatic shut-off valve pre-installed onto the mounting panel. It's the white valve with 4 lines coming out of it. This NEEDS your tank setup properly to work, as it uses the tank pressure to know when to shutoff water to the system. INSTALLATION: PERMEATE PUMP - this is the miracle worker, it uses a clever diaphragm system to increase the water output of the system and does so by using the discharge waste water pressure. This makes them at least a 1:1 efficiency or better. Without it, it produces 1:3 (water to waste ratio). I added a remineralization filter to mine then out to the spigot. I also added a 3-way splitter to a shut-off valve for my ice-maker line, which I installed on the outlet of the mineralizer right before the spigot. WITH A PERMEATE PUMP, ON 85psi INCOMING WATER PRESSURE, IT PRODUCES A LITER OF WATER IN 3 MINUTES. That's 125 gallons per day, a 25% improvement in water production with a decrease of 250 gallons of waste water, per day. Obviously you'd have to run it 24/7 for that, but you get the idea. CONSIDER ADDING: a permeate pump, a psi gauge on the incoming side of the water in your RO system, a remineralization filter (put it inline after your last filter), an additional water shut off valve, and a mounting panel to attach all the components to before putting the mounting panel in its under-sink position. Last thing - make sure to leave room under your sink for your water tank. EDIT: 4 months later, works great and we love it. The cats love the water in their fountain, and we enjoy not carrying 5-gallon jugs of water in from the car every weekend. :)

Great System
I had a new expensive Max Water unit that split and flooded my kitchen. Amazon would not stand behind it. I ordered this unit and it was a pretty straight forward install. Not 1 leak from install. You do have to make sure the tubing is inserted all the way or the fittings will leak. I added a re-mineralization cartridge on mine and the taste of the water is incredible. My coffee taste better as well. I am very happy with the smaller size.

Great product.
We purchased ours in 2020. It's 2025 now. Our city water is horrible. This system has worked great. I have not had any leaks. Install is easy. Remember if you resize any of the plastic tubing cuts must be as close to straight up down as possible or it will leak. Are water is a hard water and I tend to need to change the water filters about every 4 to 6 months. The taste is good and ou water comes out clear now

Small; Easy to Install; Took Time to Clear Filters and Tank
I selected this model of RO system to replace my ancient 4 stage RO system because of its very narrow size. I had about 13 inches of basement wall space to mount a RO system and very few will fit. The package was well packed and all components were present. Included was a small but complete installation manual. It was installed easily and quickly. The water tank is plastic one and not steel .. so its much lighter. Their tubing system is entirely based on 1/4 tubing with modern quick connect fittings. I had two small leaks on testing the system .. both due to me not inserting the tubing all the way into the fitting. I followed the procedure to initially run the system for 15 minutes with out the tank filling to flush the various filters. The outflow from the faucet did not show any real color in the purified water. However when I enabled the tank to fill and then emptied it, I observed a 5 or 10 second flow of dark water at the faucet. I emptied and refilled the tank and then emptied it 6 or more times and observed the same 5 or 10 second flow of dark water at the purified water faucet. Now, finally, the last several full tanks of RO water is clear and tastes fine. I attribute this to the final charcoal taste filter shedding some of its carbon when the tanks higher pressure water flow started through that filter. Just a guess on my part since the observed dark water lasted just 5 or 10 seconds. But, because of this I give the system just 3 stars. Lastly, this system uses a non-standard 7 inch main 3 filters (and not the 10 inch filters on all mainstream RO systems). The smaller size means that these 3 filters probably have on the order of just 1/2 of the filtering capacity of their 10 inch equivalents. So more frequent changing should probably be expected (depending on the quality of the incoming water). The supplier, FS-TFC, sells a filter package here for $49 that is billed as an annual filter set. I am somewhat concerned that finding 7 inch filters may be a problem at some point. Summary: This is a small RO water system that is inexpensive and a complete package that is easy to install. However my experience with an extended time to flush out the system lowers my overall opinion.
