Its made of cheap plastic, the plastic got broken in half hour of use, idea is good but quality not so great, I don't think it will last very long with an active child. Good for outdoor play, easy alternative to catch and throw, children should be given such toys that will make them physically active and increase hand eye coordination, best for 4 to 8yr olds
