Got this after my old mask died and I needed a replacement quickly. Got a 2x diopter to go with it, just over £40 altogether. Have to say it works very well. The mask is a bit lightweight and may not stand up to long hard use, but it's comfortable to wear and gives a good clear view. I'm happy with it. Bear in mind I'm an occasional hobby welder, mig and tig.

Great bit of kit

I need to learn how to weld very quickly to remove a snapped bolt from an engine. I bought a cheap old now darkening welding helmet but I couldn’t see a thing through it so it was useless. This was so much easier to use, could see perfectly to set up weld and darkened instantly on pulling the trigger. Very adjustable head band made it comfortable to wear and light as well. Don’t know why would need anything better than this I paid £40 for.

Great welding helmet easy lens change, plenty of options for settings. One fault, the box is too small it squashed the helmet so when you try it on the sides press on your temple. Easy fix just put a pack in to open it up for a few days.

Its perfect for home use, however the top of the headband can get a little uncomfortable sometimes, but this can be resolved by putting a bit of padding around it. The true colour window is really good especially if you have been using the green windows for a while, as soon as you look through this its a big difference but its not off putting, it just a lot more clear to look through. The overall build quality is very nice and it will offer good all round head protection from sparks when you are welding. The print of the design is also very good, i have seen some expensive helmets with really bad print but this is very nice
