I bought the 120 degree lens for adding 6v LEDs to a cargo bike. They are smaller, 5mm LEDs without a circuit board. These seem to be made for an LED mounted to a circuit board, but will still work for my purposes. I’ll have to find something that fits the housing and just hot glue/epoxy it all together. Overall the light output seems to be a bit better focused in the center, and has a larger spread. It does make the LED look better from a distance. I’m sure one of the more focused beams would help more, but I wanted the wider field of view.

Used them in a 3d printed light setup with 1 watt LED. Got both 60° and 90° much better than just a straight LED chip.

I wanted a lens to focus an LED, and was surprised that they were so easy to find! Here they are, and they work! They fit snugly on your typical 1-5w LED, and do a good job of focusing the beam. I'm using it for a searchlight on an RC helicopter, but it would make a good DIY flashlight too

I know these are repeated designs for the same product under other names, but the design of these makes using some star boards difficult. The slots in the lens holder fit nicely around the legs of the LED on the board, but there's no space there for adding power wires, which are always off axis from the LED legs. I always have to Dremel out the bottom so the lens fits flush on the LED, which it needs to do for the LED to function properly. The lenses are fine. Definitely not high optical quality as there is some fringing and rings in the field, but that's to be expected with this type of lensing.

These work pretty good, they are plastic lenses. Ok for 5 watt emitter in flashlight application with enough heatsink.

I ordered 30 and 60 degree lenses, but received 2 packages of 30 degrees. Unacceptable. Performance: The 30 degree lens works OK - I am using it as a light collectors for a sensor, and had them both characterized in the lab. As you can see 30 and 60 degree performances are identical, so the supplier screwed up. In my case, due to a small size of the sensor, the 30 degree lens yields a 13 degree beam width. A similar 15 degree lens has 8 degree beam width. Light collection efficiency was also measured, and is commensurate with F/1.0 lens on both 15 degree and 30 degree lenses. See the attached graphs.
