I spent more time getting several dozen screws removed from the molded case of the JBL than I did actually installing the new horn. The original wiring worked perfectly; I didn't have to make any adaptations. The JBL sounds great again! Review: Works as designed - was a direct replacement for my JBL speaker array. Perfect replacement for JBL EON Power 10 powered speaker
I've got an old JBL EON Power 10 powered speaker that had a blown, original 2412H horn in it. This replacement horn was exactly what I needed ... and at a good price. I have an electronics background, so this was an easy installation for me. I spent more time getting several dozen screws removed from the molded case of the JBL than I did actually installing the new horn. The original wiring worked perfectly; I didn't have to make any adaptations. The JBL sounds great again!

I love these!
I love these!!!! I bought 2 of these diaphragms because i have a pair of jbl tr 125s and one of the diaphragms blew and i just decided to replace both while i was at it. these diaphragms sound clear and i don't need to keep the high frequencies all the way up anymore now i just have them up halfway! i would buy these again definitely!

Rating updated to 1 star. The 2nd replacement also stopped working. This is not acceptable: Previous review--->This is a replacement that I installed on my JBL JRX112 monitor. I have 4 monitors and one of the horns gave up on me a few weeks ago. The first one I received was defective I thought. It had very little and thin high tones. I returned it and ordered another one. This one performed better. By reading the reviews here it seems that many people do not use good practices when replacing this membrane. Be extremely careful, the coils is very thin and damages easily. Inspect the magnet and the small opening, clean with compressed air or WD40 and use magnifying glasses to verify the opening is clean. When installing the membrane it is good practice to have a signal going to it. By finger-tighten the screws and listening you will find a "sweet" spot that will give you maximum output. You can now tighten the screw. This replacement is made from plastic compared to the original JBL that is made from some sort of metal. If you are not sure, get the complete assembly of the tweeter. Replacing just the membrane is tricky and takes some skill.

Rock On!
Easy to install and retored my JBL Eon 8 speakers back to their original glorious sound and volume. I hope this is available for many years to come, but so far I haven't needed to buy any more.

Great buy to get you by
This is a quick fix for your JBL speakers, not meant to have them in for ever. I wish that they would last longer. If you want it to last longer then I suggest buy the real ones from jbl. Quick fix by this one on here they are great if you are not using your speakers for a long period of time.
