Lovely bag
Bought for my grandson, for Uni, he’s really pleased as it is smart and looks a little different to the normal backpack

Plenty of room for shopping when on my bike
Plenty of roomComfortable to carryQuite heavy duty fabric which can make closing harder when the bag is full

Bit on the heavy side
These type of bags are heavier than I envisaged and for my use would not suit as don’t want to have one of these on my back with everything in all day long. Maybe ideal for short trips and office use where the weight and size would not be a problem. Returned

What a brilliant bag!
This bag was perfect for our adventure to Costa Rica. It was comfortable, roomy and kept our belongings safe and dry during boat trips, beach trips, hikes up volcanoes and treks through the wettest jungles in the world! Also, perfect for family trips to the beach in the UK! I highly recommend this bag!

Not worth it
The bag cost £74. I can't even lock the bag. Anyone can easily slip their hands in and out of the bag stealing things from it when it's left at work/staff roomI used to have a zip locker lock for my previous bags it's useless on this one as there is no zipper

This, is an awesome bag!
This backpack is awesome but what makes it stand out from others apart from its size and waterproof folding top is the build quality. The bag has been really well made and you can tell this as soon as you open it. I am always a little sceptical when reviewing some of the items sent to me on Amazon as most are from china and whilst they do the job the build quality always isn't right but this bag is solid. No Jackson & Cole isn't a brand I am familiar with even though when looking at their page they have a Bristol address which is where I am from. I love the look of the bag and the 30lt capacity means you can fit a lot into it. And its comfortable when in use too despite its size. The bag folds at the top which stops any water getting in and something I am used to with pannier bags. There is a zipped pocket at the front which is also waterproof. A net pocket each side good for water bottles. Inside is a internal sleeve pocket and on top of that a zipped pocket and net pocket.Once full you roll the top and either connect the two straps either end or there is a strap that connects to one of the loops at the top. There are also 8 loops at the bottom which I am not 100% sure what they are used for and padding on the back of the bag to protect and make it more comfortable on your back. Also some reflectors to be seen in the dark. The biggest thing to impress me though is the quality. You may think it has a big price tag but for what you get for it I think it's reasonable. I will most likely be keeping an eye on this brand.

Good Quality Waterproof Backpack
This is not your standard backpack, the first thing you notice is it's weight, it feels quite heavy at an estimated 1.2kg, that is though to be expected because this thing is made from what looks like the same material that my paddle board is made of, it's also bonded together the same way and with the roll over top no water is going to get in this even if it's dropped in a river, which could happen with this as I will be using it to keep my belongings dry when I go river paddle boarding. It has plenty of room to put loads of gear in so again for me, clothes, camera and other items will all fit in this and stay dry even if the worst happens and I fall in, not that's going to happen of course. There are two ways of closing one is just to roll the top and fix it in place with the strap, the other is to roll and fold and clipping using the end clips this is probably the more waterproof way as it's the same as a small bag made the same way I have and that has been dropped in the water a few times with no water ingress.Internal pocket to organise items, side netted pockets for what ever you need to keep in a netted pocket unfortunately it will not be a standard sized drink bottle as they are not big enough, this is probably the only thing that lets this down but for me not enough to knock a star off for as it also has plenty of loops etc and I have a water bottle holder that can be fixed to a backpack.Overall a good quality made backpack, it is very stiff, I have only tried it out for a very short period but it feels comfortable enough on my back so for my needs this is just right.

Good but there is one problem for my
I ordered this to replace an old worn out framed 26 litre backpack that I use when I go shopping on my bike . The build quality and materials are superb . There is a front pocket , side mesh pockets and some internal pockets . There are also some material sections on the back at the bottom and top of the bag for attachments, lights , smaller packs etc . The backpack has a raised padded section on the back for comfort and airflow . The shoulder straps are well padded and there is a chest strap to hold the shoulder straps in place . The only problem with this pack is there is no waist strap , on a 30 litre pack the is supposedly suitable for cycling then a waist strap is a must . The weight of this pack fully loaded on the bike will not be stable enough on a bike with just the chest strap . I intend to see if I can somehow fit a waist strap to stabilise the pack more for when I use it for shopping on my bike . Other than that one problem , it is a very good pack and a decent size .
