Excellent product. I have one any multiple hats and they have saved my head MANY times.

got the soft one, felt i needed more so got thw hard shell version...false advertising. its soft as well. not strong enough to dissipate any kind of forces. go with the thicker soft one.

Works well

Quite comfortable and conform to various hat styles because you can cut them to fit and offer a modicum of protection (therefore a GOOD idea). the tradeoff is that this flexibility/pliability makes them liable to shift out of place unless you spray-adhesive them to the hat (I presume that's the long-term fix). I never actually wore mine past trimming/fitting, carrying in the truck, and trying on a few times because after fitting mine to my company hat (the petals overlap or are too long so you cut them to fit whether a trucker/ball cap or whatever your cap style is), it seemed I had to fit/adjust the liner every other time I put the hat on. So I just threw it away and kept the plastic competitor's version that tucks into the brim (not a knock, this is a definite improvement over no protection, probably just fit it and spray-adhesive or tape-adhesive it for the win). For my line of work outside hardhat needs (self employed), I went with the plastic alternate. This product should be a winner for a no-see-um solution if it stays with the hat (nice employee handout). 3M double sided tape would solve it easy.

Works great but does hang outside ball caps

My workplace in a manufacturing facility is extremely hot and humid most of the year, and we are required to use a bump cap. The ones my employer provides are hard plastic and don't breathe at all. These have been a lifesaver inside a mesh cap. Light weight, plenty of ventilation and still enough bump protection to have saved my noggin quite a few times. I had to pay extra shipping on most of them which is no fun on Prime, but I can't find any others I like as well so it's buy once cry once. Highly recommended.

Too bulky, and thick. Needs to be thinner.
