These are just okay. If it weren’t such a hassle to return them, I might do it. I’ve bought other mattresses on here that were much better quality, but for the price I suppose this is about as good as it’s going to get. I’ve had these for about a month now and they truly don’t expand out to 8”. The pictures of the two mattresses on the floor were about three days out of the packing (which was dirty and left little stains on the mattress, see photo), and you can see it has barely inflated to 5”. The picture of the single mattress on the floor was immediately after I removed it from the packaging. It’s a medium level of firmness, which I like—not too soft and not too heavy for a small lady like me to move around. Not a lot of noise. I’d probably say these are closer to a 3.5 but if you’re in a pinch, these are good for the price and convenience.

The mattress I received yesterday has a substantial defect. After unpacking, it started to expand unevenly: One side was lower, overlapping the edge and sloping down (see photos #1 and #2). I’ll give it the full 72 hours per instructions, but right now, about 30 hours later, not much has changed (see photo #3 with cover pulled back). If it expands fully and evenly by then, I’ll upgrade my review. If not, Amazon will have to replace it. Stay tuned. UPDATE: No change 3 days later. Amazon Customer Service (surprisingly easy to contact by phone) gave me two options: a partial refund, or full replacement (with free pick up of the defective mattress). Since I still have 87 days to return it, I chose the discount for now. So I'll upgrade from 2 to 4 stars, since the sagging edge doesn't affect most of the sleeping surface. I'll see if I can live with it.

Definitely on the firmer side. Might choose something softer next time, but it works for our kid's bed. It is a good depth. No weird smells, inflated great when we unpackaged it. A good price and no major complaints!

Love it! It's super lightweight, bought to use on a bottom pop up trundle bed and it makes popping up the bed a breeze. It's just the right amount of soft with good firm support. Quality is awesome inflated quickly to 8in. Definitely recommend!
