I'm a knife guy. After carrying it for several years, I love it. Just a good EDC knife. For the money, I would recommend this knife if you're just starting out. Now I just recommend it to all my non-knife friends. It's easy to sharpen, has a deep carry clip so you'll forget you're carrying it and because of the Zytel handle it is very lightweight but not brittle! It has a nice black coating to help with rust, which in my biased opinion 😀, makes it a plus. It may not be a big brand but I'll take this over the Gerbers anyday.

I was looking for an extra EDC knife, for when my $$ Zero Tolerance is not right. I have a Bear & Sons hunting knife which is both functional and attractive, so I decided to give this a go. I like the fact that it is built in the USA, I try to only buy US knives for personal reasons. The shape and initial edge on the blade are amazing. The handle is somewhat thicker than I would have expected, but is very light and has functional checkering. The clip provides for deep storage in the pocket, the assisted opening is smooth and quick. This knife is an amazing value, and I'm probably going to buy another because I am so impressed.

I have carried a knife for over 40 years and this is the best one I have ever owned for daily use. In fact, I had all 3 children give me one on father's day as back ups in case I lost mine. Still have my first one. Use it daily and only have to sharpen it about once a year. Great value for the money. I would recommend this product to any daily knife user.

I think the knife is great for the price. The Amazon description says Made in USA, but the box says Built in USA. I am guessing some of the components are made in other countries and it is assembled in the USA. You can see it in the picture, but the Amazon description is inaccurate. I took a star for not stating Built. I like Bear &Son I have 3 other knives from them, but those boxes say Made in USA.

I was not expecting very much for the price of this Bear Edge Zytel Sideliner, What I received was a excellent quality EDC knife that is well made with quality materials. The quality for dollar is there. Bear & Sons seem to really care about their business and workmanship. The blades factory edge is razor sharp and perfectly centered. It needs some breaking in as all knives do, the spring assist will help till the detent is loosened up. Overall I am very happy with my purchase and supporting a 🇺🇸 knife maker keeping their products affordable. They offer some premium higher end products I plan on adding more of them to my collection.

Holds an edge really well, clips easily to my pocket, and got a great snap to it when I flick it open. I have two of these. Bought a second one when the first went missing. Found the first one, so now I've got two.

Honestly, really good knife. Now I know it's not the knife you would buy and think this going to be a long friendship. I bought it a couple of months ago during prime days. For the price I figured why not so what if it breaks but I just an unfortunate accident with my Benchmade and heart had hole in it and I needed a rebound. Like fast! So thought I would hit it and quit it here. Only thing is I'm in construction and do woodworking so it like to take my hammer and hit my knifes from the backside, hard. I never questioned if my Benchmade could take it but this little thing I figured ah nah. So I was a bit apprehensive the first time I hit that thinking it was going to pop back and break. But it didn't it was fine so I hit it again and again from the back side. And now couple months later I've been hitting this thing like a regular and it's doing just fine actually I think I might even buy me another one It's doing that great I highly recommend this thing! That's coming from an avid benchmade carrier for the last 10 years I truly could stand this thing up next to one and I know that is a ridiculous statement but it is really is a job well done! High five guys!
