Great for cooking, and love that it is shelf-stable without the flavor of the can. This milk has NOT changed the flavor of any of my recipes so far. We don't enough milk to always need a carton so this is a practical substitute. Hubby tried drinking one by itself with a couple of cookies and he says it's okay, and drinkable as-is. Better than canned or powdered, but still not the same as fresh - so 4 stars instead of 5. But, if you are looking for an alternative to canned milk that's much better than powdered, this works.

Love Horizon Shelf Stable 1% Low-fat Chocolate Milk!! Walmart quit stocking it, and I couldn’t find it anywhere; I finally found it on Amazon and was thrilled. The shelf life is amazing and not having to refrigerate it until ready to use is great and so easy to use!!
