Finally bit the bullet and bpught a good set of binoculars. These definitely surpassed my expectations. Glass is very clear and crisp with good light transmission in low light environments. All while backed by that amazing Vortex warranty.

These binoculars are very high quality. The price was good and the delivery was on time. My only complaint was that the owner's manual states to protect the lenses use the eye and tethered lens covers. I never received the eye lens covers. I emailed the company's customer service and haven't received a response. I called the company and could never get through. UPDATE: The authorized dealer (EuroOptics) was not very supportive. I contacted Vortex and they couldn’t be more helpful. They are sending me the missing eye covers at no charge. I love the binoculars. Crystal clear and powerful.

These are really good binoculars. I have a pair of 10 x 42's (another good brand), but I wanted closer, clearer, brighter and these delivered. A pair for a lifetime and to pass on. Of course heavier and larger secondary to having more glass.

Nice class for the price I’m sure they’re better ones but I wouldn’t wanna pay that kind of money. They haven’t no purple haze on the horizon with this glass.

Love these for my bird watching. And looking for mushrooms, and anything else. These fit over the eye well, not like the little lenses that you feel like you have to squint to look into. They are comfortable and easy to use.

I've had em about a week and, so far, they seem to be exactly what I was expecting. They feel stout, all the mechanisms seem to be tight and the clarity is very good. There might be a slight loss of focus on the outer edge but not enough to bother me and you really have to look for it to find it. As far as chromatic aberration I don't see any or maybe if there is it is so slight that I don't notice it. What I'm trying to say is I can see things very clear and can't see anything that interferes with what I'm looking at. It's that simple. I think in this price range it is a good value. I like the accessories that come with it too. The case is sturdy and well made. The strap is comfortable and well made. The harness is fine too. I probably won't use it much but it's nice to have in case I want to. I can't seem to find anything that would knock off a star.

So far so good. Tight package. Easy to use. Image is clear. Seems like really good optics and design.

Perfect midsize and weight binoculars giving a clear, sharp and bright view with accurate, untainted colour. I had been using x8 Vortex binoculars, worrying the x12 would give too much image shake. I was wrong, the x12 are perfect and I don't use the x8 now. The Diopter adjustment allows you to perfectly balance each eyepiece with each eye for perfect stereoscopic imaging giving excellent depth. Perfect for spotting wildlife for photography which is my use - scan, spot, switch to the camera. The lens and eyecup covers, along with the rubber coating and padded binocular case are perfect for tossing into a backpack for hiking or cycling - rugged build and perfect glass protection in rough conditions. The rubber coating also helps stabilise the view, leaning against a tree or pushed up onto a cyclone fence without slipping or damage giving a rock solid view.
