'As a model railroader, finding the right lighting is crucial, and these pre-wired LEDs from Edgelec is one of my go-to product. I've used them for everything from locomotive headlights and ditch lights to illuminating building interiors. Despite their size, the brightness is impressive, and the warm white color has a perfect realistic glow avoiding that harsh blue-white LED look. The fact that they come pre-wired is a massive time and frustration saver. Soldering wires to SMDs this small is a nearly impossible task, so having that done for you is worth everything. The wires are extremely thin, so you need to handle them with care. Also, make sure you match them with the correct resistor for your power supply. I've bought all the different versions (sizes) multiple times and have always been happy with the quality.

I have bought from this supplier a few times. I have not had any failures. I've used 0402 and 0805 in white and red for various model projects. They are a bit fiddly because of their small size and I have old eyes issues. I can't imagine soldering to these tiny SMD, I'm so glad they are pre-wired.

Very nice LEDs - very bright and good color balance.

Ordered these LEDs to place inside my model. The diode itself is under 1mm and the pre-soldered wire is approximately 200mm long. The wire is very, very thin. I don't know how thin it is exactly but I estimate anywhere between 26 to 30 AWG. The LED is quite bright for something it's size. I would not recommend running the diode past 3.0V DC.

Works

These LEDs are great for modeling realistic building interior lighting and exterior ambient lighting, and accessory lighting for model trains like ditch lights, ground lights, step lights, and cab interiors. These are not high K blueish white LEDs like you would see in newer car headlights and newer streetlights. These have a nice warm pure white glow when viewed straight on and have a slight golden tint when viewed at an angle, so be sure to mount them with the flat surface facing perfectly perpendicular to what you are illuminating.

Muy buen tamaño, resistentes (en su proporción) y funcionales para agregar luz a modelos a escala, radiocontrol, manualidades, entre muchos más. Yo los ocupé para añadir luz a mis modelos Technic Lego, muy funcionales. A considerar que no es luz "dirigida", sino omidireccional. Posible usarse, con pilas de 3 volts de botón, para tarjetas navideñas.
