Very shallow depth wise. Not an issue however. Id be skeptical about use for food or anything with moisture. I am satisfied with this purchase. Cute for what I purchased it for.

I bought this to put on the console table for keys. It is very pretty, solidly made and the right size for a couple sets of keys without room for a lot of junk like my other bowl had. I’m happy with this choice.
