Refreshing greens—and surprisingly good taste
— Intro — I’m in the boxing gym five days a week for an hour of intensive work, so I’m always looking for ways to get extra nutrients in without making it a chore. I picked up these Pure Nutrition Super Greens because they’re a lot more portable than a massive tub of powder. They’ve got spirulina, moringa, and wheatgrass, which are great for a quick antioxidant hit after training. I’ve been using them for just under two weeks now, and I’ve actually found a slightly different way of taking them that works for me. — Pros — The Taste is Spot On: Usually, anything with spirulina or wheatgrass tastes like pond water, but these are actually really pleasant. I’ve actually been letting them dissolve in my mouth like a sweet rather than putting them in water, and they taste great that way. Convenient for the Gym: The tubes are small enough to chuck in my gym bag. It’s much easier than messing around with scoops and shakers when you’re in a hurry. Immune Support: They’ve added B vitamins and Arjuna leaf, which is perfect for anyone pushing their cardiovascular system hard every day. Light and Fizzy: If you do choose to put them in water, they dissolve quickly and aren’t heavy on the stomach, which is important if you’re about to head into a session. — Cons — Greens Content: Because it’s an effervescent tablet, you aren't getting the same volume of greens as you would with a giant scoop of bulk powder. It’s more of a convenient "top-up" than a total replacement for veg. Tube Quantity: You get 40 tablets (two tubes of 20). If you’re taking one every day, it lasts a decent amount of time, but if you’re using them a couple of times a day during a heavy camp, you’ll burn through them quite fast. Early Stages: I’m only two weeks in, so while I feel a bit more refreshed, it’s hard to say if they’re making a massive difference to my actual recovery times yet. — Conclusion / Recommendation — I’d definitely suggest giving these a go if you find standard greens powders too difficult to stomach. The taste is the biggest selling point here—they’re actually enjoyable to take. For a busy person training hard, it’s a really handy way to ensure you're getting some quality superfoods and vitamins in on the go. Definitely an excellent option if you want something simple and refreshing.

Very good
I like having a daily dose of greens/vitamins and these do the job well. Unlike powdered greens these tablets dissolve in water fully giving you more of a juice. The taste isn’t very strong but that doesn’t really matter. These are really good value for money too. Recommended!

Novel fizzy way to get your daily greens...
This is a novel new way of getting my daily greens; I’ve used powders in the past, in smoothies and overnight oats, but never before in an effervescent tablet. The tablets dissolve quickly, leaving no gritty residue, and result is an almost transparent light lime-green drink. The taste is…err…interesting: it starts off quite fresh and citrusy, but there’s no hiding the spirulina, which comes through at the back-end of the taste as a sort-of chlorine-like chemical full-stop. It’s not the nicest, but when you consider how packed with good stuff each effervescent tablet is, then it’s easy to stomach the taste. It’s a pretty easy way to stay on track with good nutrition in a (fairly) refreshing drink, and it’s easy enough to pop the tube in your bag and take it with you for a drink-on-the-go.

Not sure yet
Only just started using these, so it’s too early to say how much of a difference they make. They dissolve well, taste okay, and are easy to take. Hoping to see more benefits with continued use.

Super Greens Effervescent Tablets – Convenient, Fizzy Citrus Drink Option
This pack includes two tubes of 20 super greens effervescent tablets, priced at £8.99 at the time of review. The tubes are compact and easy to carry, making them practical for use at home or on the go. Each tablet takes around four minutes to fully dissolve, creating a lightly fizzy, refreshing citrus-style drink with no aftertaste or residue. There’s no added sugar, a clearly printed expiry date of October 2026, and the tablets are straightforward to store and use. This set includes two tubes of super greens effervescent tablets, each containing 20 tablets. The slim tubes are lightweight and fit easily into a bag, so they’re handy for taking to the office, gym, or when travelling. The tablets dissolve in water in roughly four minutes, which works well if you’re multitasking in the morning. Once dissolved, the drink is pleasantly fizzy without being overpowering, leaves no residue in the glass, and has no aftertaste — overall, a delightful drink. The flavour is described as lime, but the ingredient list references lemon, which is slightly confusing. In practice, I’d describe it as a general citrus flavour rather than distinctly one or the other. The ingredient blend includes moringa, spirulina, arjuna leaf, wheatgrass, spinach, and B vitamins. The product is marketed around immune and antioxidant support, though this reflects the manufacturer’s positioning rather than something I can personally assess. There’s no added sugar, and the expiry date on my pack is clearly marked as October 2026, which is reassuring. One practical tip is to make sure the lid is tightly closed after each use, as this helps protect the tablets from moisture and maintain their integrity.

Fizzy Greens
I like taking my daily greens as a drink in the evening, so I was interested to try this effervescent version. I have to say that I really like this delivery method. It still looks green and gritty, but it doesn't taste gritty at all, just a pleasant fizz, which I prefer. I feel like I'm having an indulgent glass of pop, rather than a healthy drink. The flavour is a very delicate lime flavour, and I can imagine that in the summer you could have this over ice, but it's way too cold for that at the moment. I think that these are good value, as you only need one tablet a day, so it will last for 40 days. It fizzes up quickly and dissolves readily, so you don't have to wait too long for your drink to be ready.

Not as expected
The tablets were difficult to dissolve and had a very unpleasant taste. They also upset my stomach after a couple of uses.
