Dog Walking Just became a joy!
We have a 3.5-year-old male Labrador who weighs 38.5 kilos (85lbs) and has the strength of a small car. Because of his naturally inquisitive nature, he needs to get everywhere at lightning speed which means whenever I take him out, he constantly pulls on his lead (yeah, I'm a Brit) and by the time we get home, my arms were always aching with the strain. We've tried quite a few different harnesses/restraints over the years and all to no avail. This one turned up yesterday after we returned from another torturous walk (for me) so today was the first attempt. I confess that after having read the positive reviews for this harness, I remained sceptical, however comforted by the fact that I could return it when I proved it didn't work. The harness is available in several different colours to suit the owner’s choice or match with the dog’s coat. I was concerned that the harness and lead would be somewhat flimsy, but they are extremely well made and very strong. We went out on our usual walk in the countryside and I am honestly amazed by the transformation!! Initially, there was no pulling at all until he got used to the harness. Any pulling after that was quickly corrected by a slight (and I mean slight) tug on his lead or by me simply stopping. I kept him on the double lead until we left the village where we live then had him on the single lead attached to the top of the harness for the rest of the walk. I can honestly say that today was the first time in 3.5 years that I thoroughly enjoyed taking the dog out for a walk. No more aching arms for me but more importantly, no more choking noises from my dog which I always found distressing.

Great harness
This is no substitute for proper leash manners, but makes life easier with a reactive dog. A determined puller will still pull without proper training, so don’t expect miracles from any tools, however, it’s a lot easier to control our dog and people reactive boy when he happens to try and lunge (he is about 30 kg and I’m a 50 kg female). Try and not let that happen though as this classed as an aversive harness if the back clip is used, which can create an association between the tightening feeling and trigger (not that good), but prevention and training combined with this harness used properly will give you great results. It’s a sturdy and durable tool, and all the stitches, clips and buckles seem to be great quality. We go on long hikes and woodland walks with this on and we had no problem so far. I love the fact that it comes with a lead - maybe the handle could do with some padding on as it can be a little bit rough on the hands, but I really don’t think that’s a major issue as we use a hiking belt for longer walks.

Good Harness
This is a strong, good quality harness. It came with useful instructions showing the different ways you can use the lead. My dog appears to be comfortable wearing it. However, it’s gotten wet a few times while out walking and recently I have noticed that it seems to have shrunk a small bit.

control !!
I purchased the Freedom No -Pull Harness a couple of weeks ago & seriously I never leave reviews BUT this lead is just AMAZING our crazy 18 month old lab used to have my arm out of its socket walking on a regular lead . I have just got back from a 2 mile walk with her and it was fantastic no pulling and very happy to be walking beside me. What a great purchase THANK YOU at last I have control!!

A very good a reasonably priced harness with leash
Does what it says on the tin with a good warranty on the webbing if the dog chews or catches and cuts straps they will replace up to two straps, it’s nice and comfortable just watch your sizing as it has to be measured carefully apart from that very good value for the money and the leash is top quality as well

Well designed
Very well designed. Perfect for my moltipoo dog who likes to pull. I have bought these harnesses many times before and feel they are the best on the market that I have seen so far. My only wish is that the clip fasters would be made of brass instead of plastic.

It works as an anti-pull!
My Retriever pulls like a lion, and this actually works, I don't totally know why but would definitely recommend. It isn't the cheapest but the buckles etc are metal not plastic like my previous one which broke, so you are paying for quality!

Hallelujah
Absolutely fantastic! Finally after six years our headstrong Labrador walks properly..... hallelujah. I think some dogs just do not want to be dragged around by their necks and they actually have a point and should be respected. All dogs should have this harness as it really does work and both owner and pet are finally happy.

My doggo likes to pull so much so that I dislike walking him. Was recommended this 2 hound no pull harness and leash by an animal volunteer person and never look back since. Although my doggo still pulls but is very manageable. Thanks for the great product. Highly recommend.

If you have a real 'pull and drag you down the road' dog, pls consider this harness! We have tried positive reinforcements (albeit, we're not always consistent) and also tried the Gentle Leader (sometimes works, sometimes doesn't and we discovered that he was able to wriggle out of the snout loop 🤦🏻♀️). It was giving us backache and armache walking him on a daily basis... I did a lot of research to find a real no-pull harness because I've also read of many stories and reviews where the dogs are able to wriggle out of harnesses, and how harnesses are actually enabling the pulling to make it worse. Anyway, I finally decided on this "2 Hounds Design No-Pull Harness" due to the positive reviews on the design and how it worked. I was very dubious at first and after struggling to get it on the first time, I'm amazed at how this harness is such a game-changer. The first time we walked out with it on, my dog was walking beside us, loose-leashed like he was Mr. Easygoing. We've been using the harness for a few weeks now and it's worked so well that I wanted to share this in case someone needs something like this. I won't deny that if he sees a squirrel, he will still try to pull your arm out of the socket but the harness is a lot more effective in holding him back than either the Gentle Leader or the martingale collar that we use. Highly recommended, although it's a bit pricey but it was worth it for us. There's a double-ended lead that comes with it, so you can change where you need to attach it - either both on the back loop, or one in front and one on the back for better control.

The best harness! Besides being a great training/walking harness, this harness just saved my dog from very serious injury. On our usual walk, a huge dog charged her out of nowhere. My dog is 14 lbs. and the dog came after her was at least 70-80 lbs. I was able to quickly pull her head towards me due to the nature of this harness. The dog then attacked her hind end and thrashed her around, but thankfully after a vet appointment and antibiotics, she’s doing much better. But if that dog had been able to attack at the neck like they usually want to do, he would have caused much worse damage and possibly broken her neck. Thanks to this freedom harness I was able to get her head and face quickly out of that dog’s way. I bought it for training purposes but now I realize it has many other very important advantages! Highly recommended this harness!
