Yes, they are paper thin but worked out perfectly as backing for my 4x4 ceramic tile coasters. I had no issues removing the backing, but I did use my craft grabber tweezers to lift an end a peel. Super sticky and adhered without any additional adhesive. Would purchase again.

Made some personalized coasters for a friends retirement. These made the coasters non-slip as the coasters were black matte and absolutely smooth on both sides making them very easy to slip if not placed properly on a surface. The tiles were commemorate a special life event and thus needed to double up as a "display" piece as well. Adding these cork backings really made a HUGE difference. The tiles looked more elegant in my opinion and allowed for multi use. Now the tiles would be non-slip if used as a coaster! If I had to find anything "negative" about them, it's the initial impression I had, that they were too thin and thus the removal backing was more of a challenge to remove. Tried separate it with my finger nail and that too proved to be a challenge. I ended up using the weeding tool for my crafting and being able to subtly "stab" the paper backing made life of removing these sheets a whole lot easier and quicker! Adhering them to the tile was easy once centered and once placed, they stayed put!

Good quality, The only problem is that the title says they are 4"x4". They are not! They are 3.75"x3.75".The actual size is however stated down in the description.

These small corks are great for coasters, but I've switched now to the 4" square corks as I feel they provide more coverage.

Right out of the box I was surprised how thin these were. The rounded corners look nicer than straight edges. They are super sticky and stuck really well to the back of a tile. I had to remove one and although I did manage to get it off entirely, it wasn't easy - so the adhesion is really good. Because they are so thin, they are flexible and fit well over any bumps and grooves on the back of a tile. So unless you have a perfectly flat surface to adhere these to, I would not get anything thicker.

Way too thin like card stock. They appear a little thicker in the picture , but they are more like a 3 x 5 card thickness. They area little shy of 4 inchesso for me, both the size and the thickness do not work.
