Great product
Works great I had on. That cost 150bucks and this one was better than that one and it doesn't drip very much

I am whelmed.
Yes, it does ooz a bit and the power button does get turned off if you lay it on that side, but this thing is a beast. I use it for carpet repair and it’s performed great. Heats up quick and will turn a 10 inch stick into a puddle in seconds. The built in drip tray takes care of the oozing problem. I am as happy as one could be about a glue gun.

Professional tool, is not a toy
A professional-grade tool is a high-temperature glue. It melts any stick you can find. Be sure you buy the right stick for the project; there is no one stick to glue it all. This is a high-end tool, and it gets very hot. Be careful; you can get burned very easily. A+ quality tool.

A Serious Glue Gun With Minor Flaws
I bought this heavy duty glue gun primarily to improve the assembly quality of furniture sets that can be readily purchased at a certain large blue store with four yellow letters. How so? Like many things, it all started on an internet forum where people were discussing ways to make their wooden ‘four yellow letters’ furniture sets endure the hardships of moving. One idea that stuck with me from that thread came from a commenter who mentioned that they would use a high powered hot glue gun on every wooden dowel pin as they installed the pins into their respective slots. After testing that method with 7 furniture builds, here are my takeaways: - Many say to use gloves in their reviews and and that lead me to think that heat safety would be a huge issue. Frankly, it was not a problem at all. The glue gun runs extraordinarily hot at its peak operating temperature (as it should), but it was very easy to keep the business end where it belonged. - You want to use a drip catcher. Once the gun is fully heated and ready to roll, it will drip molten glue out of its tip no matter how careful you are. I use a 2” clay flower pot base because it’s inexpensive, heavy enough to stay put, and should last forever. - If the glue that you just applied cools down too quickly, use a heat gun to bring it back up to temp. - Keep the glue moving or turn off the heat. If the entire heating chamber/glue reservoir liquifies, the next time you press the trigger to feed more glue into the gun could result in a back flow of extremely hot glue. Don’t let this happen. It’s a pain to clean up. Overall, this is a decent hot glue gun. Just be careful and turn it off when you’re done using it.

Excellent choice for larger needs
Does a great job working with higher temperature glue sticks for larger projects. Well built and easy to use.

When you have A LOT of of stuff to hot glue
I have put well over two cases (300) sticks of hot glue through this gun mostly on cardboard. This hot glue gun is the real deal. One of the problems with cheaper guns is that the heating element cannot keep up with the amount of glue you needed melted. This one does. Who is this gun for? Its for someone who needs a lot of glue for projects but you don't want to wait for the heating element to get hot again after too much use. I will say after two years of use the gun does not work as well as it once did but it is still working and working well. The only wish is that the stand that it comes with was more robust.

Legit brand , safe, performs as advertised. Get this one!
This one is a winner. A real American brand / design that is safe and doesn’t make fraudulent claims. The gun is huge and it has the power it claims. Some reviews criticize it as having false power claims , mentioning “inrush current” (the manufacturer may even be staying it this way) which is not in fact the proper terminology. Inrush current as defined in the electrical world is a very brief current spike associated with plugging in power supplies or starting motors up. It lasts a fraction of a second. This device on the other hand starts off at 300W, which is very, very high and starts melting glue very quickly, then throttles itself back over several seconds.. If it didn’t do this it would overheat and ignite the glue and burn out very quickly. It must have some kind of automatic thermal current regulation, probably a PTC thermistor heating element- which is fantastic - and certainly not something I’ve ever found ,or would expect to find , in the Chinese no-name brands . So I’m very happy I bought this. It is a safe product from a globally recognized American brand. It would be crazy to buy some Chinese unsafe junk brand, no matter how great the reviews, especially because this Areow unit did not cost more than the Chinese “premium” units — with their fake power ratings and all. The Arrow is a bargain in fact and a no brainer purchase.

I just received this and have only used it a few times, but it doesn't drip, the two little stabilizer wings on the back are great because if it tips over, it prevents the gun from being stuck in a puddle of melted glue and the stand and power switch are on point. Excellent wattage to boot. I highly recommend this product.
