Q: Is it a adhesive rubber tape as 3M 2228?

It is a tacky rubber on one side and a non tacky rubber on the other. 3M 2229 is tacky on both sides and stick to itself better.

Q: does this type of Mastic work for adhering mirror acrylic to sheet rock and concrete?

I don’t believe this will work well. There are other products made specifically for mounting mirrors. I use the 3M Mastic 2229 to bolt two painted metal parts together to protect the finish of the parts. If & when you take the parts apart, the mastic peels off and the finish of both parts remains unblemished. The mastic is somewhat sticky and aids in assembling the parts together.

Q: can i use it in the freezer?

Most likely, but it depends on what you want to use it for. This mastic is not really a tape in the coventianal definition of tape to repair an item. It is a material somewhat like tar that is very sticky throughout all of it’s dimensions including its interior. It remains sticky and does not dry out and is typically used to dampen vibration or minimize slippage.

Q: Could I wrap this around the plastic wheels of a toy of my son's to make it quieter on the wood floor?

DEFIANTLY NOT! The tape is made up of very sticky homogeneous material that remains sticky just about forever. I use it along with nylon ties to mount an aluminum plate to a bicycle frame. It provides a lot of stability and protects the bike frame’s finish and when I have removed plates after 2 years, the mastic is still sticky. Using it on the toy’s wheels will make it stick to the floor and not role.
