Lightweight but warm great quality

Decent lightweight rain jacket. It is average quality; as quickly as children grow out of clothing, I think it will last for the length of time I need it to. If it was an adult jacket, I would look for something a bit more durable. In my experience with heavy rain, I have learned that very few rain jackets are truly waterproof. I tested this one in the sink, by running water on it for several minutes. It kept the water out for quite a long time, with minimal evidence of the water soaking into the fabric. I included a picture of the hood after running water on it for quite a while. The fleece inside the hood is still dry. I like the thin fleece lining in the hood, back, and sleeves; it keeps my child comfortable, but not too hot on a spring day. I like the reflector stripe on the back. The zipper needs some work. Either the base of the zipper jams or the fabric flap jams the zipper when my child zips it up.

Nice jacket. Thin but it’s nice for rain and cold weather.

This is such a nice jacket! It has a thin fleece lining on the inside for those cold and rainy days. It's lightweight and comfy, according to my kiddo. It repels the rain nicely and fits him well enough. I ordered a size up so he could wear sweaters under it, but I probably could've stuck with his usual size. What a great quality! It even has an inside pocket.

My daughter loves this wind breaker. I have to make her take it off when she sleeps. The stitching is very good. The zipper is smooth. I ordered this over sized so she can wear it longer so I can't attest to size accuracy. But it is perfectly oversized. If that makes any sense. With as much as she likes it, I'm glad I did. I've had her outside in some hard Nevada winds and she says it breaks the wind "really, really good". The fleece lining is not thick. This Jacket is not heavy. Perfect for fall or spring. She also said that despite playing in the rain for an hour she wasn't wet under the jacket. The color is very nice. It's dark and consistent and had a small horizontal stripe of high visibility fabric on the back. I love this feature. Especially with the dark blue being hard to see at night. If your looking for a lightweight, insulated but not roasting windbreaker/raincoat for your little, this fit's the bill nicely.
