HIC Kitchen Round Au Gratin Baking Dish, Fine Porcelain, 4-Ounce

This basic "5 round dish is made of porcelain and is useful to cook and serve eggs, gratin, crème brulées, cream desserts, or whatever you want. I love it as it adds a refined and personal touch to the table. Moreover, it is resistant to micro-waves and dish washers and consequently, it lasts forever; for example, my mother still uses the ones she bought 30 years ago, and they are like new! I had bought a set of six from the same company here on Amazon; I was so happy with my choice that I ordered two others in order to have 8 for when I have guests.These plates are nice, practical, and affordable: I recommend them warmly. I used these plates last week end to add an elegant touch to my table decoration. I filled three of them with water and put nice and colorful floating roses candles; next time, if I do not use them to cook, I will use them as vases and will put real roses without their stems. Why not?

This is a childrens food dish or for play

I use this to warm up things in my toaster oven or to hold my bagel... it is a little bigger than a bagel. It’s a cute dish that can take the heat. This sounds oddly sexual but I’m not meaning it to... just describing it so you know what you’re getting. It’s not big. It’s dainty. I’m gonna include a picture

Was smaller than expected so I was quite disappointed in this given the price. Had wanted to use for baking cheesy dips such as artichoke or Greek goddess. Too shallow and really tiny.

We use these to feed our cats, since the low rims allow them to eat easily, without "whisker fatigue." (It's a thing you should know about, so if you don't, look it up!) These bowls are sturdy, attractive, and easy to clean. I had one accident, where the cat who likes to eat up on our counter decided to push his empty dish onto the floor, where it broke and took out two other bowls as well. But that was my fault for not teaching that cat better manners.

It is very small. I wanted a small pan but this is not very deep and I haven’t found anything to actually cook in it. I have warmed things up in it but mainly it’s a home for hard boiled eggs in the refrigerator.

I had purchased these little white baking dishes butt some had disappeared. I am so glad I replaced them. They are very handy for the oven or the microwave and stack very well.

There was a chip on the first plate. I ordered another and there was a chip on that one also. I sent them both back in one package.
