Great if your a tidy cook. Raosting a whole chicken every month and it helps standardize the Brine.

This is a great container for storage and cooking with a Sous Vide.

Somebody swiped my replacement, but I willingly bought a 3rd! Mine is a godsend for stretch and folds. I can make double matches of sourdough bread, with plenty of room! Sturdy, easy to store and very reasonably priced. My only suggestion? Buy from Amazon. Mine came from a private seller and took over a week longer than expected.

Perfect size for a 10 pound bag of flour.

Perfection for bulk raising sourdough bread. But you will have to improve the markings. I'm deducting one star because the markings every Liter or Quart are inaccurate and should have a half liter and quart mark for being useable. Just pour in 500ml water at a time and mark with a permanent marker.

After I received my order, I discovered to my dismay that the Cambro container shipped to me from Amazon is made of POLYPROPYLENE plastic, and not POLYCARBONATE plastic, as was advertised by Amazon. These are two very different plastics! Cambro only rates their polypropylene containers for use up to 160°F, whereas the polycarbonate ones are rated up to 210°F. When holding one in your hands, you can tell them apart in two ways. First, the polycarbonate containers are crystal-clear, whereas the polypropylene ones are a translucent white. Second, there is information molded into the outside bottom of the containers, and the polypropylene ones are labeled with a triangular recycling symbol with the number 7 and the letters PP (for polypropylene) within the triangle. In the small photo in the Amazon advertisement, I paid attention to the written description in the ad, and failed to notice that the containers were less than crystal clear, thinking that this was just a photo taken in poor lighting. Since I was planning to use this Cambro container for Sous Vide cooking at 165°F, I am now disappointed because of the incorrect information in the Amazon advertisement, and my failure to notice that I had been shipped the wrong product until after I had already cut a hole in the lid to accommodate my Sous Vide cooker and used the Cambro container for the first time. PLEASE DON'T MAKE MY MISTAKE !!!

Good size container for proofing dough

My husband was able to fit our 6-7 lb whole chicken and soak in a brine overnight. Worked well.

Nice 'looking' container, however, I will return it because it contains BPA, which is labeled by Health Canada (since 2009, BTW) as a "dangerous substance". THE FACT THAT THIS CONTAINER HAS BPA SHOULD HAVE BEEN CLEARLY LABELLED..... but why does it have that in the first place. Total fail.

The product is correct, pretty disappointed the image of the item shows a quantity of two containers, but I only received one. Popular Amazon trick!!
