At the beginning I was a little bit skeptical of this brand since laptop chargers for high performance laptops is something to take care about and I wanted the OEM one, but since MSI doesn't sell them I just went for this one. I used this charger to replace the MSI GP63 8RE one and it works just fine so far. It gets a little bit warm now and then but nothing out of normal temps. What I will say is that it is very heavy and bulky, more than any standard laptop charger I own. But when it comes to power, works perfectly.

**Update** About a month in, the brick died. I had been using it for about 8-9 hours continuously, and it got really hot, and I heard and audible little 'pop' sound. Afterwards, the brick LED light wouldn't turn on and I wasn't able to pull power. I contacted support and they were very helpful and quick about a replacement, however I'm a little wary to use the charger for prolonged periods of time now. The original charger that came with my MSI GP63 Leopard 428 notebook gets only about 1/2 as hot as this one, even after many hours of use, so I might consider getting an OEM one next time. **End Update** Purchased this as a charger for my desk, as I find it more convenient to leave my original charger in a travel backpack, and not have to unplug/move the same one back and forth. Haven't noticed any problems with it, and it seems to work as well as the original (also looks like the same dimensions as the original as well). Shipped much quicker than listed; arrived in 3-4 days instead of the 2 weeks that was expected.
