Running Reverse Osmosis water to the fridge really multiplies the value of the R/O System.
The dispenser box got mangled pretty fast, leaving quite a tangle. Maybe I didn't open it right, but there were few indications of how to do it til I had it all over the floor. But after dealing with that, all went pretty well.Bought this to run water from our new under-sink reverse osmosis unit to our refrigerator about 15 feet away. Had some problems with it kinking while dragging the tubing through several holes in cabinetry and the pantry walls, but in the end it worked out rather well, taking about 22 feet of tubing. Was able to go end-to-end with an unbroken tubing, eliminating the flow reduction and possible leakage that comes with every single coupling device. At first, the water delivery volume from the in-door cold water dispenser was really disappointing. So much so, I bought a length of 3/8" tubing and ran it in parallel across the kitchen floor as a test, about the same length. I didn't relish the idea of trying to pull the stiffer 3/8" tube through the twisted path I had just accomplished with the 1/4", so I was relieved when the 3/8" did little better in delivery volume.Turns out we were way overdue replacing the fridge's internal water filter. Apparently a plugged-up expired filter, AND a long plastic tube was just too much restriction. One new filter later and the water delivery is just fine. The ice and water are now truly amazing. The ice is crystal clear like the store-bought stuff, and both ice and water taste great. We're drinking a lot more iced tea and just plain ice water. In the end, I bought way too much tubing, plus 50 ft of 3/8" tubing, and a pile of 1/4" and 3/8" tees, valves, etc. More stuff for the garage.A week or so later we noticed some leakage under the sink that came from a defective 1/4" quick-coupling tee fitting, so keep an eye out for that sort of problem.

When you must have more than 25ft continuous
Fits Watts push fittings just fine, as expected. You can't buy more than 25ft lengths at Lowes or Home Depot near here , and my application required about 30 with no couplers. I pulled a length of this through a pre-existing 1/2" PEX run that behind walls and under the slab. That was to have RO water at the other end without it touching the copper fittings at both ends. RO water eats copper. This 1/4" O.D tubing just barely pulled through the 1/2" copper fittings. That length of 1/4" OD poly tubing was too long to have a good flow rate with typical RO water system pressure so bought another pressure tank for the far end location. This all works fine now.

Works fine.
This is simple poly line commonly used to feed refrigerators - but I couldn't find anything longer than 25' in big box stores, so had to order this online and pay 3 times the price. After I ordered, I did see it in the Green big box store, 100' length, for 1/3 the price. Oh well. Also, I didn't see "Watts" on the box I received anywhere.

This is the good stuff
What's not to love? The tube is strong enough, flexible enough, and safe/clean enough for everything I needed to do, which was run it across a ceiling and up one level to the kitchen. Price was reasonable - it's Watts so made in USA and NSF certified and all that. It won't break easily, but it cuts easily. I found it simple to cut the tube square with a knife or pair of sharp scissors. One month into a difficult run, and no leaks or crimps.

Great for RO water System
I purchased this tubing for my new Reverse Osmosis water system. I use this tubing in the basement, and run to my sink and my Fridge (ice/water). This tubing was easy to install, and adds no taste to my purified water. It is thick and durable. I expect this tubing to last a very long time. I am very happy with this purchase.

Great buy
Good price, quick to ship! I needed to run a long length of line from my RODI unit to my new 100 gallon reef tank during the initial fill. This worked like a charm. I have also run a long length from the RODI waste water outlet to my Koi pond in the back yard. Seems to hold up well.

BUYER BEWARE. The description by the seller clearly states ...
BUYER BEWARE. The description by the seller clearly states 'NON-TOXIC'. However, when received the box it comes in also clearly states:'CONSIDERED TOXIC BY THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA'. If you are using this tubing to carry water either to drink or to us in hydroponic growing systems for plants you will eat....it is VERY TOXIC and there are many internet examples of polyethylene poisoning via water. Do your homework and know what you are using it for. I immediately returned mine

diameter is smaller
This product is not quite 1/4" diameter. If you want to use 1/4" dowel pieces to enclose the tubing in a circle - do not buy this product - it is far too small in diameter for the dowel to fit. The tubing itself is strong and comes in a nice roll.

Great!
This tube is inexpensive and worked great for putting an additional line from the basement to the fridge.
