These and the pole came after christmas but in time for when we took down our lights. So we took them down and put them back up with these setup and they worked real nice. Of course they were up there but a day so I don't know how well they would stay up for a month and if wind came would it blow them off? We don't know. But they do go up easy and come down easy. Hubby broke 2 clips when he started as he had them in the pole wrong I think. Glad I ordered the extra pack of clips Would I buy again? Yes, if it stays true to what we know

Wife wanted lights up- but since suffering spinal injury- I cannot do it. After looking at solutions for her to do it- these clips and the additional tool made it easy for her to apply the lights to the fascia board - all from the ground! Bit of a learning curve to get the coordination of pressing on and releasing on taller spots. We broke 3 on the entire run- VERY HAPPY WIFE. Telescoping applicator rod and these clips are EXCELLENT!!!

I used this for the first time this Christmas season and despite the bad reviews, I was mildly surprised at how well it worked. It definitely saved me a lot of time this year and cut down on the trips up and down the ladder to hang lights. I wish the clips were made so they attached a little tighter, but overall, they look like they’ll do the job. Several times, some of the clips came loose and a section of lights came down, but that was probably my fault by trying to stretch the lights too tight. I ended up going back and adding clips in several places to strengthen the hold and make the lines straighter on the soffet. Fairly intuitive and easy to use once you get the hang of it. I may try to heat each clip slightly to make the section that attaches a little lighter after Christmas is over.

I absolutely hate going up and down on ladders. With that being said, this pole with the hooks saves me with putting up christmas lights on the house. Without the use of the pole my house looked like scrooge was a permanent resident with no lights year after year. Everyone around me would put up lights and my house was the sad unlit black hole. This year we are kicking the grinch out and no longer going to be the sad black hole. This pole extends to the highest reach possible for me to put lights up at the highest point of the roof. With NO LADDER! Getting the clips in the end was basically the hardest part and that was easy peasy. The clips fit on the wood part of the roof or clips on the gutter whichever you need to use. It was easy to clip the lights and push the clips on the eve. The pole is light and easy to use with a trigger to release the clip once you have it in place. Having the other head helped when I needed to pull a clip off or grab the sting of lights to separate them. I completely recommend this pole for those who like to stay grounded but need to put lights up for Christmas.

Broke. Did a dry run with it soon after it came in, and the device seemed to fit the bill. I was able to place the clips, and fiddle with the simple clips that are still up from last year using the pincher attachment. But the day that I intended to start actually doing the thing, the smallest segment jammed, wouldn't extend, then something in the internal part of the trigger mechanism cut loose, rendering the device a expensive, short stick.

Not as easy as they make it out to be and if you have a clay tile roof almost impossible to attach the clips if the tiles are not loose. I was still able to hang the lights but definitely needed a ladder and I only have a single story house!

They higher i went i really thought it was going to break but it didn't!! It did a wonderful job. Easy to use. Video was very helpful. I hung my first set of lights!!

If you need a tool to help put your icicle lights up then this is your new best friend. I’ve been putting up icicle lights on a two story house since 2017. I wished I had this back then but it is so easy to use and the clips are fantastic. The two end pieces that can be switched out are both easy to attach and remove. Attaching the roof clips onto the product are so easy but what I was shocked the most on was how simple it was attaching the clips to the roof would be. There was only one peak on the house that I couldn’t reach but that’s not the products fault. I would highly recommend this for anyone. I would suggest if you are using a lot of lights for the roof and not gutters, get the extra clips. If I could give this product a 10 star rating I would.

Please don’t waste your money on this product, either brave it and go up on a pair of ladders or don’t put any lights up on the guttering. Unless you are a world champion in the field of hook a duck it ain’t happening.

This is the best tool for those hard to reach places, especially for the people that are not comfortable getting on ladders, equipment is fragile, but if used correctly, it works wonders We have multiple of these pieces of equipment, and we use them for our lighting company, saving us hours of time without even having to get off the ground. Actually, enjoy this product very much and the clips are rather easy to install, when installing, you must try to be straight the gutter on with the stick in the clip or you will break them trying to put them on from an angle. Clips are highly durable and stay in place 99.9% of the time. Once again, very happy with this product
