Best cable I’ve found. More expensive, but worth it.
I’ve tried a lot of wire / cable brands. Windy Nation Powerflex is now my go-to for cable. I’ve discovered there is no cutting corners with wire. There are a lot of less expensive options, but in the case of wire, the old saying is true: “You get what you pay for.” Unlike Chinese wire, typically undersized & made with lower grade materials, Windy Nation is made in the USA using quality materials. The Powerflex welding / battery cable is more flexible, more rugged, and (due to its construction of a larger number of smaller diameter strands resulting in increased cross-sectional area for a given gauge of wire) is rated to carry higher amperage than other same size AWG cable. Depending on your installation needs, this may allow you to use a larger gauge (smaller diameter) wire in the Windy Nation product line or alternatively, provide you greater margin of safety against fire if using the same AWG wire compared to other brands. I recommend paying the higher price point for Windy Nation Powerflex cable, especially in installations where maximum current carrying ability / amp load is critical. Check out the Powerflex amp ratings for the gauge you need, to see why I say this. Windy Nation listings always include a pic showing the max amp rating by AWG.

Great Quality, made in USA
Upgrading my solar system. This is the best cable that I have seen, even working with up to 4/0 cable. Flexibility and general ease of working with it is the best.

Very good cable.
1985 F 250 6.9 IDI diesel. It has two batteries and needed the same size cable. 2/0 was my choice. Nice cable and it's pure copper. I put 3/4" wire loom over it just for more protection.

Better insulation than most.
I have several brands on hand. The Windy Nation wire has a thicker insulation than most of them. It is still flexible and easy to work with. I just received the Shirbly brand of 10ga. solar wire. It has very thin insulation. I will be ordering more from Windy Nation. The Windy Nation wire is the thick one. The Shirbly brand is the thin one and was also 1 ft. short of the advertised 50ft. The roll I received was only 49ft. 2in. long.

Battery cables
Used these for my battery cables. With its flexibility it made running the cables easy. Wasn't sure how the outer jacket would handle the elements, for added measure I ran the cables in a wire loom.

High quality heavy duty wire
I have ordered heavy gauge wire from Windy Nation multiple times for use in my RV solar projects. Each time I have been pleased with the cost compared to other options, the timeliness of getting wire, and the quality of the wire. I will continue to look specifically for offerings from Windy Nation for any future wire and cable needs I may have.

Flexible and easy to work with
These were a pleasure to work with. I was a bit worried about routing wires this thick, but it turned out to be a non-issue. These bend and flex easily, have nice and thick insulation, and took ring lugs well. Would use this again for future projects.
