Where are these corkscrews made?

I'm not 100% sure. I know they are designed in France. But there are no markings, on the key itself, to indicate where it's made. I can speak to them being very well made. One of the best wine keys I've used, and I've been serving tables in Napa for over 10 years now. I've also purchased a dozen for co-workers and haven't heard a complaint from any of them.

Why is it so expensive? similar ones are around $10.

Because on a $10 corkscrew the screw will frequently bend or break off, the knife will tear your foil and they don't last. *This* corkscrew, however, is actually a very nice, sharp and well built.

Asking again as i am looking for an italian or french made corkscrew. where was this "premium" produce made? no labeling likely means china.

Designed in France, no indicators as to where it's made but it's very well made. Good weight, nice feel in the hand. 6 months opening a huge variety of bottles at a one star michelin restaurant with no complaints.

No country of origin marking. Alors, Made in China?

No idea where it's made, I got my first one while vacationing in Paris. Liked it so much that I searched for and bought three more when I got home. Nice quality either way.
