Natural Comfort Soft and Luxurious 310TC Sateen White Down Alternative Duvet Insert, Cal-king

Thanks to comments from others, I was prepared to deal with the lint that covered this comforter. The packaging was great - it came in plastic zippered case which made it a cinch to toss in the car and head to a laundromat. I tossed the comforter in a super-size dryer with several dryer sheets and ran it for approx 30 minutes (it smelled great after that, too!) When I pulled it out, I still had to go over the whole blanket to get the lint off (I use packing tape to pick up the lint) and even then it didn't all come off), but it was better than before. I have a dark-colored duvet cover, and even with the prep to get rid of the lint, there were still small pieces of lint that showed up on the cover. Once inside the cover and all the lint was then removed from the cover, it was great. I've had one other down alternative comforter and it didn't have the lint problem and it also seemed warmer, all for about the same price. I keep my house at 70 at night and found that I still get a little cold under this blanket. As for dimensions, I got a King size comforter and put it in a Queen duvet cover. It's probably 2 inches too long for the Queen cover, but you can't tell and I'd rather have my blanket full to the corners than flat and unfilled around the edges. It's well-made, and the filling is even and lays flat. Really a very beautiful comforter. Just be prepared to deal with that lint!

Natural Comfort Soft and Luxurious 310TC Sateen White Down Alternative Duvet Insert, Oversize Queen  The packaged arrived overnight delivery, I was a little nervous about ordering a duvet insert online, and even more nervous about it after reading some of the reviews on the "shedding problems" people were having. There was no odor coming from the insert, it fluffed up nicely and there was no "fuzz" or "shedding" of any kind...The outer material is not soft but feels more "crisp" to the touch and the package (which was ordered through amazon.com) when it arrived said 300TC instead of the 310TC advertised. There were a few loose threads noticed around the edges, but not enough to complain about. I really thought I had gotten a wonderful deal for the price and still believe that I have, the only problem is that I ordered the "oversized queen" in the hopes that the bedding would lay over the sides of my pillow-top queen bed further than a regular queen would. The Oversized part of the bedding is for the area of the bed that runs from head to foot NOT from side to side...I like it enough and was considering keeping it until I noticed that when it is put into the duvet cover you can see the sheets on the mattress underneath....So my suggestion to others considering ordering this product would be 1. make sure it comes from amazon or a recognized dealer of Natural Comfort Supplies and 2. make sure you order larger than what you think you will need and 3. don't order oversized anything when you do not need an extra long blanket but are looking for an extra wide one. I contacted customer service today and am sad to see my insert leaving so soon, as I am still nervous about getting another one for fear of the "shedding" problems others have mentioned....I will update this when my king sized arrives and let you know about how well their return policy and reordering system works, as well as how well the King sized insert compares to this one.....UPDATE: Natural Comfort Soft and Luxurious 300TC Sateen White Down Alternative Duvet Insert, Oversize King  I ended up ordering the Over-sized King for my extra thick queen bed and am SOOO glad I did, I LOVE IT!!! and better yet, I cannot get my children off of my bed now, all they want to do is climb up on the big fluffy duvet (which is in a cover by the way, but still had no problems with "shedding" or stitching)!!! This duvet insert is WONDERFUL!!! Everyone that comes to my house asks if they can take it home with them, so I let them know where I purchased it....THANK YOU SOOO MUCH FOR SUCH A WONDERFUL PRODUCT!!!! The return for the last one was no hassle and the refund was promptly taken care of, I am VERY satisfied with AMAZON, and believe I have found my new favorite store!! I know I mentioned earlier about never getting over-sized anything, but I purchased a duvet cover with this last order, and the dimensions required the over-sized king, in order to make the duvet extra fluffy. I get overheated really quickly after chemotherapy treatments, and I am here to tell you that the Midwest in the middle of summer can get very very hot, this blanket is still perfect to snuggle up in at night and stay comfortable, I do on occasion have to stick a foot out but it isn't so hot that I need to take it off the bed

I REALLY like this duvet insert. I purchased the oversize king. GREAT - comfortable, the perfect weight for cool Southern California nights. And I really like the oversize for my California King bed. We're not the type of sleepers who toss and turn but even so, it's nice to not find those cold air pockets when you turn over in the middle of the night. So - yes I like it. BUT I am disappointed that there is no cover available for this product. NOPE - not even from the Natural Comfort web-site. I telephoned the Vendor to talk about that, but he was no help. They simply don't make a cover that will fit the size. This is a very comfortable comforter and generally when one uses something like this, they do so because they don't want to use a top sheet (very common in Europe to use only the bottom sheet and then a covered duvet) But with the oversized, or even the California King size, it's going to be very difficult to find a cover for the product that Natural Comfort labels as an "INSERT"So you have two options - send it out to the laundry once a week or so...or use top sheets. I'll have to vote for option two, because it's costly to launder on a weekly basis. That is until I find some fabulous fabric to sew my own Duvet Cover. Other than the awkward size - I really really really like the Duvet! Great product for a great price.

I love to be warm at night. If you are looking for something for winter and you get cold easy this is your perfect match. I love how soft they are. I got 2 more after buying one in 2018. My old one is just getting stained and we have moved to a bigger home where we need one more for the guest room. Great quality. So soft. Everyone loves that blanket so much. If you want to be wrapped up in comfort this is your blanket.

After having a couple of feather duvet fails, I was fed up with feathers and looking for something different. I bought this duvet based on the Amazon reviews. When I got it, I was skeptical that it could keep me warm during the cold Canadian winter nights - but I was wrong. We used to sleep with 2 feather duvets for warmth. Now just this one duvet does the trick!

its a really nice looking duvet, no cover required. it keeps you warm, but not too warm - if you sleep in a basement you'll likely need something else besides a sheet and the duvet. covers a queen size pillow top mattress very well on both sides, would definitely buy again.

I hunted for a warm winter duvet and was a bit overwhelmed with all the options. In the end I wanted an affordable duvet that would be cozy during the colder winter months. This comforter is soft and fluffy, just the right amount of weight and super warm. I've even had to kick my leg out at night which never happens as I am always cold. The shipping was also fast. Recommend!
