I bought this for someone who wanted to put in a pathway. This book offered great ideas and photos which were very appropriate for the home DIYer. Helpful trips and considerations.

Years ago I tended to jump into outside projects around the house. The result being a mismatch of incomplete projects. My hope is that between the school of hard knocks and this book I can plan and complete my projects. Glancing through the book has given me some insight into what I can do and can't do (either financially or physically).

It was a great source of information and ideas for redesigning our back yard. Even though we are not doing it ourselves, it gave me lots of ideas.

It is a good book for the homeowner who has some experience with this kind of work otherwise it leaves out some of the basics that would be handy in doing this kind of project. It also has some great ideas and very helpful information for those who do have the skill level for taking on these kinda projects.

Not really many ideas unless you live in a multi million pound mansion with millions to spend as well
