Bondhus 12533 GorillaGrip Hex and Star Fold-up Triple Pack, 12587 (2-8mm), 12589 (5/64-1/4-Inch) & 12634 (T9-T40)

I did a little research to find out which tools were made within the USA, and Bondhus came up as one of the few small companies that still manufacture in the USA. I was specifically looking for a Torx (star) set that was better made than the Craftsman single Torx T-10 driver that I had to return back to ACE Hardware. The craftsman Torx driver had edges that were not well cut and did not properly fit on the screw that I wanted to loosen. These Tools are extremely well made as the Torx driver fit perfectly with a very solid tight fit. Leave it to Mid-westerners in MN to produce a high quality product at a budget friendly price and not spend any money on advertising. Old world craftsmanship that relies on word of mouth reviews. BTW I also looked at the more expensive ergo looking tools that were German made, but I was drawn to the value for money that this product offered me. I am extremely delighted with this purchase.

The media could not be loaded. I received a free set to test about 30 years ago. I started using it every day at work. I’m glad the Bondhus brand is still available. I figured it was time to include some new tools from them in my tool bag. Excellent quality and will last a lifetime.

I like these. I’m not a fan of this style at all but needed some for work. They re ergonomically designed in my opinion. They have a nice shape and texture and yet they are smooth and not bulky when using. The standard and metric sets are neither too tight or too loose. The keys opened up easily but stay in place and do not “flop” back down by themselves. The star set is a little stiff but I rarely ever need that style anyway.

The only downside is that many of the hex keys are bent at an angle from where they connect to the base. It doesn't get in the way of using it, and these are nice tools made of fine materials, it's just a little unsightly.

This is a tool every home should have and I love them connected. I have the loose sets but hate how they can go missing or worse, don't stay in place when the book is opened.

I keep one set in my car for my mountain bike, in the house and in the garage because they are a fair price and can use them for multiple uses. One item is the grip holding the wrenches needs to be tightened once in a while. Not much, but tighten them up if the wrenches seem a little lose. No problems so far. Very good quality. It's nice having the different types in the package in case you get an Allen that your'e not sure what size it is. Having the different types (metric/english/star) guarantees you'll get the right fit.

Works great and built great. So much better than loose tools

I got these for a friend as a gift. As I only have one friend I really wanted the best version of these I could find and I was not disappointed. They are well made with high-quality materials and I enjoy using them. The difference between a high-quality hex wrench and a low-quality hex wrench is huge. It is a pleasure using these and I am so happy I gave my friend a gift card to CVS instead.
