Heavy Duty Citrus Press - Stainless Steel, Large Size, Lemon Squeezer, Non-toxic - Extract More Juice Without the Seeds

I'll use this for now but it has room for improvement. Is it that difficult to make a good squeezer? I cant find anything decent in the stores or at Amazon. Some people even pay $25 for junk. So let me tell you what I see.Pros:1) stainless steel2) it feels like heavy duty construction (time will tell)3) cup is larger than most to fit a better variety of citrus fruitCons:#1) Handles are hollow and water definitely collects in one side. (I'll try standing it on one side in the dishwasher, air drying will not work)#2) Does not fully close because the handles meet when squeezed (second design flaw after water in handle)#3) Because of Con #2, thin skinned fruit, like limes and tangerines, are difficult to get all the juice.So . . .let me try it for a while on limes, lemons, clementines, tangerines, oranges and sections of grapefruit. Let me also see if drying is an issue or if the stainless steel finish comes off. I'm not certain this is solid stainless or it is coated with stainless steel. If after a few weeks of use, I might drill a hole in the handle to let the water drain more readily. If the product is solid stainless, the drill hole should have no issue and no rusting. If I see corrosion, than this thing is only coated in stainless. I am very un-trusting of manufacturers lately, too many counterfeits are showing up in Amazon and people are getting duped.It should NOT have to be major project run by NASA to get fresh juice each day. I'll write an update after more use. For now this gets a generous 3 stars.

We have been through more than our share of citrus squeezers. Cheap ones and expensive ones, it has never really mattered, we have always had issues. We just got this one and it is by far the best one.First, it is not painted! Yeah, it is clever to make two sizes or three and have them painted green, yellow and orange, but every one of the painted ones that we have owned has started to chip off paint (makes you wonder what is in the paint that you may be ingesting...). Second, it is two pieces of steel with a hinge - super simple and well made. The other metal ones out there are typically die cast aluminum and they snap pretty easily. Finally, it is stainless steel. It is going to be easy to clean forever (and admittedly, it makes it look cool).Yeah it is more $ than other squeezers, but as with all kitchen devices, you get what you pay for!

How have I lived so long without this? The countless lemon/lime juice squirts to the face and eyes or all over the counter and not in my glass! No More! This thing is stout in the hand and gets ALL the juice out and straight into your glass! Sure there may be cheaper options but you get what you pay for. This thing will not bend when squeezing with all your might, has a quality heavy feel to it and is well made.What more can you ask from a citrus squeezer? Have yet to use it for oranges but will certainly be used daily for lemon water and at happy hour to add some lime to my favorite adult beverages. Highly recommend and I will be buying at least one more to keep in my camping supplies. Makes a great, healthy gift to all your friends and family.

Very sturdy and arrived very quickly, even with free shipping. Have found it a bit of a challenge to use (have been juicing lemons) and some juice at beginning can come out sides. What has concerned me the most is that a fair amount of juice seems to be left in the lemons when I have finished. Maybe it is the lemons that are thicker skinned that are the problem. Don't see how it would work with oranges that are larger than lemons I am trying to press unsuccessfully. Perhaps it works better with limes and thinner skinned fruits. I will try it and see. Certainly ease of clean up and solid nature of product are its key points.

I needed a new citrus squeezer as my plastic one snapped when I was using it. It was only 2 years old. I saw these which were stainless steele. I am very impressed with the quality and believe this will last longer than 2 years. I ordered 3 as I needed a couple of gifts. I gave them out and got rave reviews from my friends who got them. I do recommend this product. I was very surprised how quickly I got them especially when shipping was free.

I returned it because I realized I could use my juicer for the same thing. Good sturdy product. I don't feel like I got all the juice from the lemon.

I bought this a year ago after so many plastic ones breaking. I waited to review just in case it didn't last. This one is the best. Heavy duty. My only suggestion is to wash and rinse each time (We do lemon water every morning). Just rinsing seems to cause a buildup and hard to clean.

I previously had the old cone shaped juicer with the jar below. This one works so much better!! It definately gets a lot more of the juice out without as much of the pulp as the other one was letting through!! I disliked my other juicer so much that I had gone back to the bottled lemon juice. This one is also very sturdy!! Not to mention smaller to store!!
