Easy breezy
The slicer is great for cutting veggies. It slices in two directions with three different thicknesses. The blades are sharp (and still sharp after use). What's nice is that there are a few safety features including a built-in lock and hand guard. Love using it to cut those thin slices. Easy breezy.

It's OK
Actually, rarely use it. y slicing knife works just as well. Will practice using it more.

Expected something else
This was my first Mandoline slicer as suggested by my wife to purchase. I had a hard time getting the slices just right. Slices much thinner than I would prefer. Also, holding whatever you want to cut is a little tricky, it needs a better grip. I figured this would be easier to use based on previous reviews. I've only used it once and not looking forward to using it in the near future.

Exact slicer I was searching for a month
This is perfectly designed to give you very thin slice of food (vegetables, fruits, and more). I love this slicer so much, I literately use them everyday. Also it has julienne feature as well but I am a slicer than julienne so not much to say for that feature for me but it is good to know it has that feature right? very easy to handle very easy to clean. (I just put them in the dishwasher and forget about it lol)

Easy to use, easy to clean, very safe mandoline
Slicer is extremely easy to use. Even though it is plastic, it is hard plastic and feels sturdy. It's great that there isn't any extra parts that you have to keep sliding in and removing. It's compact for a small space and the hand guard slides on and sits securely on top for when you aren't using it. It's very safe since there are two locks for both the slicer blade and the julienne blade. The hand guard holds on to the food securely and slides fairly effortlessly across the slicer. I recommend always using the hand guard. For some vegetables you may need to cut them down in smaller chunks for the hand guard to be able to grab on to the vegetable. The only drawback is that even on the thickest slice setting, it still slices extremely thin. It julienne's very thin as well. That being said, I'm not particular about that aspect. For the combined compactness, safety, ease of use and ease of cleaning, I'm willing to forgive the one slight flaw this slicer has of slicing very thinly. Makes slicing onions a breeze, which by itself was worth the purchase.

Great product!
I love this device! It makes slicing so much easier. I was warned to be very respectful of the sharpness, so no accidents just yet (intact fingers crossed) but all in all this has made cooking for myself and the missus much simpler. Highly recommend!

Mandoline Pictures do not reflect the thickness of slices.
Bought two of these Mandolines for my adult kids. They like how thin it slices and how easy it is too use. I was surprised when they showed me vegetables they cut using this Mandoline. Even the thickest sliced carrot was very thin. It will not cut nice sliced tomatoes because the settings won't go thick enough. The advertisement pictures show much thicker slices of tomatoes. Not sure if these are keepers or not.
