Weleda Skin Food Light Cream - 30ml

​I am a long-time user of the original heavy Weleda Skin Food, but sometimes it's just too rich for daytime use or warmer weather. When the "Light" version came out, I was skeptical—could it possibly deliver the same level of intense hydration without the thick, dense feeling? The answer is a resounding yes! ​Texture & Feel: This cream is a dream. It has a beautiful, whipped texture that is noticeably lighter than the original. It absorbs quickly, leaving absolutely no greasy residue, which makes it perfect for use under makeup. It provides immediate relief to dry patches without making my skin feel suffocated. ​Hydration & Results: It contains the same beloved blend of natural ingredients (including sunflower oil, lanolin, and extracts of pansy, rosemary, and calendula), and my skin looks and feels deeply nourished after applying it. It combats dryness, reduces flaky patches, and leaves a healthy, radiant glow. It’s light enough for morning use but powerful enough to heal my skin overnight. ​Recommendation: If you love the intense results of the classic Skin Food but need something that sinks in faster, works well in humid climates, or serves as a lighter, daily facial moisturizer, the Skin Food Light is the perfect substitute. It’s an essential staple in my routine now!

This stuff is great - smells magical (I love the smell of natural essential oils) and it is relaxing to put on in the evening. It is quite greasy but I like this for night time use - I wake up feeling moisturised and my skin is soft.

Love this cream, it’s a quality product that leaves the skin feeling very moisturised. The light version soaks in easily and is perfect for both day under makeup or at night. Product is packed with organic natural ingredients plus it smells great! Doesn’t include spf so need to add spf for daytime use.

Feels so lovely on the skin, normally alot of moisturisors cause blemish breakouts but this one is great! The smell is very soothing and fresh! Recommend as a smooth base under makeup

Haven't been using long enough for an in-depth review but here are my initial thoughts.. Pros: • Melts into the skin faster than the original Skin Food which I really appreciate in my AM routine. lol I don't have time for those "let your skincare absorb" shenanigans in the morning! • Noticed a significant improvement in my dry patches • Sits beautifully under makeup and doesn't have me reaching for the blotting paper any faster than I normally have to.. on the contrary I went to do my usual blotting paper/setting powder touch-up on my lunch break and found that I actually only needed some lippy Cons: • Not overly keen on the smell but it's not overpowering & fades away quickly. I find it hard to review skincare because what works for me may not work for you, if it helps at all, I have combination skin.. oily T-zone with dry cheeks & perimeter. What I will say though is that for the price yih can't go wrong because if it's no good for you as a facial moisturiser then you could always use it as a body moisturiser or a hand cream. :)

This was recommended by a beauty therapist and I use the lighter version in the day and the thicker one at night. Doesn't give me breakouts or spots and moisturisers fabulously.

Absolutely love this - will definitely keep repurchasing. Apart from being highly moisturising, it's smells gorgeous - like some sort of aromatherapy smell. It works great as a smooth base under makeup (particularly if you are like me and in your late 40s, with dry skin and fine lines). I bought after seeing it rated highly in the Yuka app (which identifies bad ingredients in cosmetics - I usually use Cereve and that rated surprisingly low). I also saw a mature makeup artist use this on Instagram.

Tried this out as soon as I got because every beauty article or celebrity beauty secret mentions the weleda skin.food cream. I assumed the light cream meant it would soak in your quickly..light as in a summer weight moisturizer not light as in lighter consistency. This is a high moisturizing cream despite the "light" description. I love it because we have crazy windy weather or extremely dry weather in the winter where I layer on 3 types of moisturizers so my skin doesn't feel dry. I think for me this would not be an everyday moisturizer in the summer but a once a week you need a deep moisturizering treatment type situation. In the winter I can see myself using it everyday. It greats for sensitive skin, I have felt a bit of tingling throughout the day but I think that is the actives actually moisturizering as my skin didn't get red, itchy or hot as it does when it reacting badly to a product. It does have a light herbal scent that quickly dissipates when you apply it but if you are really sensitive to scent it might be too strong for you.

Ho provato la Weleda Skin Food Light e la adoro! È molto corposa, profumo intenso ma piacevole, e idrata la pelle profondamente e subito. Perfetta per mani, gomiti o zone secche, e tutto questo a un prezzo davvero conveniente. Cosa mi è piaciuto: ✅ Idratazione intensa e immediata ✅ Texture corposa e piacevole ✅ Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo Cosa migliorerei: ❌ Profumo intenso non adatto a chi preferisce fragranze delicate Consiglio: ideale per chi vuole pelle nutrita e confortata senza spendere troppo, un vero super food cosmetico da avere sempre a portata di mano.

Es buenísima, pero solo la recomiendo para pieles de normal a seca, una piel mixta o grasa no creo que la tolere del todo bien, la recomiendo sobre todo en invierno, es un poco pesada pero las pieles secas lo agradecemos durante esta temporada.
