The best tyres!
Love these - the best tyres as far as I’m concerned. The last two bikes I have owned were supplied with Vittoria Corsa Pro, and I swapped to GP5000 (28mm) within a couple of weeks each time. These win hands down on all levels - particularly comfort, performance (speed, grip), and puncture-protection (it is so rare to get a puncture with these, whereas I had punctures almost immediately with the Vittoria tyres). I’ve never had any issue getting these on carbon rims as other reviewers have mentioned - I use a Crank Brothers speedier tyre lever which helps. Thoroughly recommend these.

Feeble side walls
Bought these in 25mm last September to replace Schwalbe 23s to get a more comfortable ride. Big mistake, maybe they grip slightly better and are definitely lighter, but on crappy Scottish roads with loose chippings the feeble side wall has already ripped apart after less than 500 miles. If you’re going to ride in the UK I would suggest a more substantial tyre.

bike tyre
Excellent item only had to return as i thought the item was sold a pair as there are two tyres in the picture and the description as you can see above also shows tyres

Pretty good
Works very well and doesn't have any problems yet, good grip and it survived a day on bumby Irish roads covered in chips

Superb
So there's a lot of hype around these tyres. I needed a new pair of road tyres and had always wondered about GP5000s, so as these were on at a decent price and after much research with other manufacturers, I bought a pair. I'm running them with butyl inner tubes. Tyres were easy to mount on my carbon rims using a Tyre Monkey. I can imagine a bit tricky without one, so I'd recommend one of those of you're considering these tyres. I took them out for a short test ride at a good pace just to try them out, and I was not disappointed. They handled superbly, the bike felt quicker straight away, and leaning into corners, they felt grippy and light. I managed an average speed of just over 20mph over a 30 mile ride, about average for me, but with a strong headwind on the last 12 miles I like to think these helped. According to Strava I hit quite a few personal bests too. I'm yet to try them in the wet, but I'm not keen on taking my road bike out in the wet anyway, so perhaps never will! Overall I like these tyres a lot, the hype maybe justified, I'll see as I put more miles on them. I also think they look the business, look absolutely superb on the bike. Photo's are after first ride out.

Hard to fit
Absolute nightmare to fit to carbon wheels for some reason, I have three sets so not an anomaly, maybe I had two bad ones sent out, but what are the chances of that? Once on they are a dream to ride, never going back to 25mm either

Continental tyres ok.
The tyres were as advertised, the only issue was that they took longer than advertised to arrive,

Je m’attendais à des pneus mais là j’ai une autre sensation de roulement, plus stable, plus léger, un meilleur rendement au pédalage, un freinage précis. Parfait !

Read so many good reviews that I went ahead and got these even though I had to swallow hard at the price. Despite the many complaints about installation mine went on the way new bike tires do, just needed a plastic tire lever for that last lift. Immediate impression, these ride smooth as butter compared to the stock Bontrager tires that came on my Trek FX 6. They just eliminated all that road chatter that you get on all but the smoothest asphalt. Second impression is that they really do roll earier than my stock tires. I can't quantify it, it's just a subjective feel at this point, but the bike felt lighter and quicker. A month ago I had upgraded my wheelset knocking off about 530 grams in weight and couldn't honestly say I noticed an obvious difference, but with these tires I noticed the difference right away. I got the 32 mm because I do ride some gravel trails and felt they would handle them better than anything skinnier. Another difference in this tire from any I've had before, is that though the tires look smooth, if you run your finger over them you'll notice that it's pitted with thousands of very fine spots. It's rough to the touch, giving you better traction than you might expect from a smooth looking road tire. At this point I have no regrets that I shelled out a bit more than I had planned for these tires.
