6 year old approved.
This is still too hard for our 6 year old to read, but he loves for us to read it to him and I am sure he will be reading it to us before long. There isn't endless content but that is what makes it a nice early reader, Story discuses Tri meaning 3, the Frill on triceratops being for protection, uses the word foe for enemy, Herbivore being a plant eater and gentle. Over all it is just enough vocabulary and content for an emergent ready. Pictures are fun. we also have the Tyrannosaurus one, which is also fun. I hope to add the earth and Moon versions to our library as well.

Great for Pre-Kindergarden
My grandson it 5, I started purchasing Step into Reading books and he absolutely ices them. They are large printed words with a variety of pictures to keep him interested.

The storybots books have a very cool way of teaching about things and this book is no exception. The humor and rhymes in the book are catchy and makes it easier for kids to read and remember. Great product.
