Pinkgrip: The legend Continues!
Not a great deal to say about this stuff - other than it carries a legendary repuatiion among builders and sticks like the proverbial does to the thing you put on your bed. You can work that out assuming Amazon don't get cross with me for being a little coarse. I have a reputation myself for being a one half of Bodgeit and Leggit, low cost building contractors (cough, cough) because I've used tubes of this stuff (and the solvent free version) all over my home and several of my friends. It sticks brilliantly with a grab that's not unlike an impact adhesive but unlike those, it's a filler adhesive too so it has the best of both worlds - and doesn't even smell like those earlier ones either. Being a solvent-based adhesive you really need to keep those windows open because while the niff isn't unpleasant, it's probably not the sort of thing you want to be inhaling. Similarly, it sticks to just about everything - including your skin, clothing, carpets (sorry dear) and won't come off without the right thinners. I can't recommend this stuff enough - I'm such a fan it became a joke in our house that I'd stick anything with it - or try anyway - and I would usually succeed to. Even to the point of using it as a filler where plaster would have, admittedly, been a better fit. Alll joking aside, use only as much as you need and beware of bits squishing out. If you've never used it before, check on some scrap and prepare to be amased by the amazing grab and lack of slip even when sticking things to walls! Very heavy woods may need support while the glue goes off, but in most cases Pinkgrip is all you need! If only I could get my girlfriends to stick as well or as long, but that folks, is a different story...

Skins up quickly
I've only used this indoors. If I wanted a product for outdoors use I wouldn't use the SF, or solvent free, version as it might take too long to cure. Even when used indoors this still takes a long time to cure. Days rather than hours. It's another Everbuild product and I've always found their products to be good. There are a few things to watch out for with this product, which is primarily aimed at the trade rather than DIY users such as myself: Firstly it skins up in a few minutes, so don't hang about when applying it. Secondly the long cure time means that the thing that you are sticking is likely to need supporting or clamping for some hours. Thirdly it's not great when you use part of the tube and then try to use it again a week or two later. I rammed a skewer up the nozzle but in the end the only way I could encourage it to start flowing properly again was by cutting more off the end of the nozzle. Fourthly this doesn't fit into a standard domestic 300ml cradle. The Amazon description is a bit confusing because in one place it says 310ml and in another place it says 380ml. I received 380ml and had to order a larger 400ml cradle from Amazon as it wouldn't fit into my existing 300ml cradle. This product is very good at what it does, with a very strong grip, but it does have a long cure time. I would definitely grab this adhesive again. Just try not to get it all over the wall in the way that I did.

Stuck a coping onto a wall.
Arrived quickly and done what I wanted ( stuck a concrete coping stone onto a garden stone wall) easier and cheaper than mixing mortar for one small job.

Excellent stuff
Really good stuff. I have used this for bathroom cladding, and the fake brick skim type material in the garden. I have found it to be very effective with almost instant grab. Would use again for the right job. Highly recommended.

Best Adhesive I’ve Used!
I’ve used Gripfill for so long and decided to use this as it was cheaper at the time. I am amazed at this stuff and wish I had used it from the beginning, extremely good instant grab and is rock solid when properly dried after a day or two. Used it on plastic trim and skirting board, so can’t say how it would hold up against heavy material. But would recommend to everyone!

It needs a dry atmosphere to set.
When I purchased this I had not realised that the Pinkfix SF meant Solvent free, and its different to the non solvent free, it was quite cheap but I quickly realized it is no good in damp conditions, I used it to bed down a outdoors stone on brick, on a dry sunny day, unfortunately it started raining after about 8 hours and the stuff would not set, I attempted to protect it from rain, but two weeks later with wet and damp weather it was still soft. As an experiment I made a 1 inch diameter ball of Pinkfix SF and kept it dry in my cool garage, although outside it was continuously raining for days, the setting time was very slow but after two weeks it had become a solid hard ball. For outdoors I would only use it when there is a good period of dry weather.

Sticks polystyrene
This is a pack of 6 pink adhesive tubes. Theyre a little bit longer than a standard sized cartridge, so check your cartridge gun dimensions before ordering! Easy to apply, fills holes and grabs really well. I bought this to install polystyrene insulation into our shed and it holds well, doesnt react with the polystyrene, and grips quickly even to the ceiling tiles without any need of support.
