3M Lead Tape 50g/m - Curtain Weight with Lead Chain & Cord

This is quite a good product it was perfect for putting in the bottom of the door frame net that I had to shorten. It weighed the net down and stopped flies creeping in and doesn’t look unsightly! Well pleased!

Good size, good weight. The ends need to be better sealed so you don't loose the individual weights.

Bought this to sew into a net layer of my daughter’s evening dress to weigh it down. I haven’t done it yet, but the design makes it easy to slip into a hem and hand sew in place.

I have had excellent results using this product to weigh down a 2.2m drop medium weight lined curtain hung inside an old solid oak (slightly warped) front door as a draft excluder. Weighting the curtain evenly along it's full width works much better for this purpose than traditional 'button weights'. The curtain hangs evenly and the drafts have been substantially reduced. I would use a heavier cord for heavy curtains. As to ease of use, is easy to cut, after cutting ends of fabric covering can be 'singed'(I used a cigarette lighter to do this) to prevent fraying. I only sewed the cord in place at each end on am approx 2m wide curtain. If it had been any wider I would probably have fixed it is place somehwere in the middle as well. Would recommend this product.

Worked in curtains, they now hang straight, although difficult to stop it sliding along the hem

I use it on the hem of netting I put up at our windows in the summer to keep bugs out - mainly flies. I ran out, and quite by magic I managed to order the correct weight.
