Kenra Color Maintenance Shampoo

I love, love, love this shampoo! My hairdresser recommended it because when I came to her, I had lost way too much hair due to illness. She said color maintenance shampoo is gentle, so it won't do any more damage to my fragile hair and would be good for the scalp. She was right. Thanks to Kenra products, my hair is restored and even thicker than ever before. Very few broken hairs in the brush, sink, or on my clothes. It's not much more expensive than the highly-advertised shampoos you find in the stores, but worth so much more. I hope to use Kenra products as long as I have a head to wash and hair to style.

This is the first time in 50 years I truly had a shampoo and conditioner do what it said. I just colored my hair and the shampoo instantly softened it and the conditioner removed the tangles. I also purchased their Blow dry spray and together all 3 were amazing. I am very happy with this purchase. I tried so many products and none were true to claims as this was. Large bottles will last me all year for sure. LOL

Love Kenra specially there shampoo and conditioner the condioner could be littler thicker. But it's all like that even when I bought it from a salon. I noticed you still don't have to use much. The smell is great too. I've been using the one for volume and it smells just like Bananas smells great. I just got this duo for color treated hair and it smells good too. I highly recommend this product my hair is bleached and it massages it so soft and silky. My hair stylist tells me my hair is so healthy for bleached hair. It's cause I only use good products not store bought. You cab tell big difference once you use for a month.

My colorist at salon recommended this. At first I liked the feel and look of the shampoo but the conditioner seemed too dry for me. It did not feel like a conditioner in the hair. The second time I used the conditioner I actually combed it into my hair (suggested by my salon) and the difference was big. It worked well on my hair and made hair look terrific. Shinny and soft. Shipping was good and packaging was really nice because they put tape over the bottle cap/opening to avoid it from spilling during delivery. I will buy this again soon.

The Kenra Color Maintenance duo is not a bad product. The shampoo is good and gets my hair clean, and smells nice. However, the conditioner is such a thin, watery formula that it takes a lot to coat my long hair, and it's just not a very rich feeling product. For instance, if my hair is very tangly and or wet going into the shower, it's a problem. I was unfortunate enough to use this product while visiting a beach, so every day I would go to shower with my tangly salty hair, and I had to use ridiculous amounts of conditioner just to get the shower comb through my hair. Even then, I had to apply a separate leave-in conditioner just to brush my hair after using this product. I think it could probably work better for people with a different hair type or length, but I went back to Kenra's volumizing formula, which I love.

While I was glad that you shrink-wrapped the product, someone forgot to tighten the cap, so there was some leakage inside the shrink wrap, and into the box. It was not significant, maybe a tablespoon of shampoo. I just thought you should know.The shampoo itself is fine...I will not really know until after I have used it longer. I may have to order the conditioner later, if I like the shampoo.

I like this shampoo and conditioner, but I don't love it. I was a little disappointed because I used Kenra dry shampoo and hair spray and absolutely love them. I thought I would love this product too, but don't. I do like it, but I wish it had a better fragrance. I like shampoo that leaves a scent in my hair all day long but this doesn't do that. It does leave my hair feeling very soft and shiny though and I do like that!

Out of all the color maintenance shampoos I have tried, this one is the best. I color my hair a dark merlot color and it's very hard toehold onto, like all shades of red. This shampoo allows me to go 8 weeks in between appointments to get my hair dyed while others would only last 5-6 weeks. Due to the fact my hair is red, it still bleeds a lot but not as much as other products such as Redken
