I started my sourdough journey earlier this year. I first purchased the large 1liter jars and then started using the smaller jars (think they are like 19 or 20 oz jars). I use these smaller jars for feeding my starter on a daily basis. As I’ve learned more and more about sourdough, I realized I didn’t need to keep large amounts of starter. I love all my Weck jars. They have rubber seals to make them airtight with the use of the metal clips that come with the jars. I use the large jars to keep my discard in my fridge and the medium size jars when I want to feed my starter more to bake bread. These jars are so functional and dishwasher safe. Just be sure not to expose them to drastic temperature changes as this could crack the glass. You do t have to worry about harmful chemicals and they’re so versatile. I would recommend these jars to all the bakers out there.

I have been a fan of Weck for a while since I bought their 743 jars for pantry storage. I've been wanting to find something that would work better for overnight oats than plastic tupperware containers. When I came across these that I thought would be the perfect size and again, just like the last set of Weck jars, these did not disappoint. Just like their other jars, these are a nice thick glass and come with a rubber gasket clips and glass lids. I was worried that I would have some broken as it comes double boxed, with the inner box marked with a fragile label but none on the amazon box, but they were all just fine. Perfect for overnight oats or smaller snacks and stack easily on top of each other in the pantry or fridge. Fantastic quality and durability. Highly recommend!
