Great posture corrector
My grandson actually asked for a posture corrector which I was surprised to learn he realized he needed it. He's under 20 so it had to be something he wasn't embarrassed to wear and it was comfortable.

It's not a back brace. It's a posture aid.
It's good if you're using it correctly. When you first get it your instinct is to reef the straps tight and crank yourself into good posture like it's some kind of brace or medieval corset. I think that's why so many people complain about sore armpits and circulation issues. This isn't meant to use tension to forcefully bend you into an corrected, upright position. It's more there to serve as a prompt or reminder to bring yourself into better posture when you start to sag, and provide a bit of support. I overtightened it at first, too. Then after a couple of days I started wearing it much more loosely. When I could feel it really starting to develop tension on my body I'd realize that I was hunching, and would straighten myself. There was no more digging and rubbing that way, and I was actively engaging my own muscles to correct myself, rather than expecting the harness to just compensate for my underused muscles and do the job for me. You're supposed to be the one correcting your posture, not the harness. It's a slow process, but it works, and generally without discomfort if you're wearing it right. I find it really helps when I'm sitting and working at a desk. That's when I really tend to round over and hunch. We'll see in a few months if and how much it actually helps my kyphosis.

Decent Quality but Limited Results for Us
We purchased this Posture Corrector hoping it would help my husband with mild upper back tension. The brace itself is well-made. The materials are lightweight, breathable, and easy to adjust for a snug fit. It’s comfortable enough for short wear throughout the day and discreet enough to fit under most shirts. However, after a few weeks of consistent use, we didn’t notice much improvement in posture or comfort. It may work better for someone with only minor alignment issues or who needs a gentle reminder to sit up straighter, but for more noticeable correction, the results were limited. Still, the quality for the price is solid, and the company seems to have designed it thoughtfully. It just didn’t provide the results we were hoping for.

Quality, right-priced, effective pain relief
I have battled neck and shoulder pain for years. Primarily using weekly physical therapy and chiropractor visits. Additionally I preformed exercises and stretches that took anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour on a daily basis. Recently after having shoulder surgery both my shoulders ached throughout the day and I could not reach above should height without great pain. I found that if I forced my shoulder backs by squeezing my shoulder blades together my mobility greatly increased and the pain greatly decreased. Unfortunately my muscles would tire or my concentration would drift to other matters and the pain would return. The I tried the Gearari Posture Corrector and within one day the pain decreased and the mobility increased because I had a constant reminder to maintain the correct posture. I was able to wear the Corrector approx three hours the first day before the straps became uncomfortable. The next day was just under four hours in the morning and then another three hour in the evening before the straps bothered me. After three days I've already noticed my posture without the Corrector on has improved. The straps have become more comfortable because my posture is improving lessening the pressure of the straps. My own muscles are developing the memory and strength to keep my shoulders back. I believe I will continue to use the corrector for several hours on a daily basis as a tool that keeps the correct posture as a habit that stays ingrained throughout every day.

Painful in the ways it shouldn’t be. Will return.
There was a lot of issues with this product. Sizing- This product expresses how it’s one size fits all because of the adjustable strap. It is not for all sizes because I’m a US medium and it was too big on me. When I secured the straps to the Velcro, the overall harness was loose. I even tried different methods of attaching the straps... it just made it uncomfortable. Trying to stick to its directions, I had to get somebody else to attach the strap to the farthest it can on the back of where some Velcro was. Even then, the results were really lacking. It doesn’t really act as a harness or brace because you can easily fall into poor posture while wearing it. Painful/uncomfortable- I tried wearing this according to the instructions as well as a variety of methods and all of them were painful (not painful in the “oh it is helping my back so it’s just sore!” kind of way either.) You can’t wear it discreetly under clothes. I tried wearing it over a tank top and under a sweater, and it felt like somebody was rubbing sandpaper under my arms because of the material. I took the sweater off to see what was going on and learned that what felt like a bunch of shaving accidents looked like a lot of irritation (red rash under my armpits, by my armpits, on my shoulders). The material is not comfortable. Does it work? Even at its tightest, the build and material of it does not provide any actual support to the back to help you keep a correct posture. The only reason why it kind of works is because it serves as a reminder that I had something very uncomfortable on and that I should physically be trying to straighten my back to lessen the pain (and even then came under arm irritation to a rather intolerable degree). My advice? Don’t get it. Instead opt for a brace/posture corrector with a more comfortable, supportive material that you can be happy with through the difficult adjustment of fixing posture.

I wouldn't buy it again.
It was too short. Haven't worn it but once or twice. Uncomfortable.

I found this device helpful.
It's simple to use and constantly reminds you when your posture is off. It will not magically force your posture into correct alignment but it helps train you to adjust your shoulders to reduce slumping. It can tug under the arms depending on how much you tighten it, but that's a feature letting you know that your posture is slipping. I've gotten to the point that I'm conscious of my posture even when I'm not wearing it.
