Everyone comments on how pleasant the scent I'm wearing is. The smell is very sophisticated, goes on a bit strong, but soon becomes subtle yet noticeable all day. By the evening, it becomes a whisper and noticeable up close. It's an all-day fragrance that evolves. This product is a good value for the 3.4-ounce bottle compared to similar brands with a similar scent.

The scent is authentic and quality, opens with a nice fresh wave of citrusy bergamot with a developing pepper-y spicy touch then transitioning into a warm vetiver with amber wood. Projects for I would say 2-3 hours give or take on a hot temperature then into skin scent for a long while. The atomizer is gentle and unaggressive, twist style cap. Personally I would consider this on the line of mature. I take joy with this purchase and the scent was not a disappointment. The price is also relatively nice. I find fragrance-shopping intimidating, there are just too many choices and trying them all out is such a time-consuming endeavor. This is why I stick with a product forever, once I have found something that I like. For me, this has been Givenchy's (classic) Xeryus Rouge for the past 30 or so years. Now that this product has been discontinued for some time, is it becoming increasingly difficult to find it, and frankly, the risk of falling prey to a fake listing in online stores is growing with it. Yes, there is a replacement product with the same name, but it is poorly reviewed and I did not take a chance on it. So I asked ChatGPT what I should do. It gave me a list of 5 fragrances that it thought could replace Xeryus Rouge for me, and Terre D'Hermes was on top of that list and also reasonably priced (the 6.7 oz bottle, that is). It just arrived and I am so excited. Terre is less flowery and more earthy than Xeryus, but in a good way. It is strong and long-lasting and I am looking forward to wearing it daily.

The smell seems to make opposite sex curious and eager to sit close to you in order to satisfy their curiosity. Just thinking loud. Wife likes it.

I bought this cologne and when I got it it smells nothing like the ones I have purchased before. I went to return it and they denied it so contacted the seller and took me directly to Hermes. And they said Amazon is not authorized to sell their products. Now I’m stuck with a stinking cologne and out $100. Be careful what you buy!
