Great pastels. A beautiful set of subtle colors. Soft but not crumbly. I will enjoy them for a long time and will buy more sets from the same manufacturer.

I like both the shape and size of these pastels. Consistent quality, nice assortment of colors and values.

I love these pastels. The colors are great and they blend very easily. I didn't want to wait to try them so the evening that I got them I sat down and painted this from my imagination with a handful of colors. It was great fun.

This set deserves 5 stars. Barbara is a well known and amazing professional award winning artist with an extraordinary and beautiful style. When I saw that Richeson had produced a set with the colors she recommends for beautiful winter landscapes, I had to purchase the set.I was not disappointed with the set. I look forward to using the colors for more of my winter scene landscape pastel works. You will love this set! Showing is the painting I did using this set.

Loved her palette choices, which work well for snow or sunlit landscapes. I also find these work well for figure and portraiture. So this selection of pastels is very versatile.
