Glass Screen Protector

I bought this for my iPad Pro 11 and it fits like a glove. It’s got a silky smooth feeling when used as a touch screen & it makes the screen look crisper, cleaner and my favorite part of all - anti-smudge/anti-fingerprints. Delivery was SUPER quick and the installation was VERY easy. After cleaning the screen & immediately placing the screen protector onto the screen, you will automatically see the screen protector adhering to the screen. It’s pretty cool seeing it do it - it looks like someone spilled water on the tablet and you can literally see it pool over the whole screen. Once it was done, I seriously did NOT have to use the enclosed card to push out any bubbles - it was amazing!!!!! This is 1million percent % worth the money for this product. It’s an excellent & very well-made product and SUPER SUPER easy to apply. Best part - the finished product looks amazing and like it was applied by a legit professional!! ;) Nice job - TechMatte 👍🏽 😃.

I have one for my iPad 9.7 and recently bought the iPad Pro 11” and got this protector for my iPad Pro. It saved my iPad 9.7 from screen damage and so I knew I had to get one for my pro. One day I took out my iPad out and noticed it had a huge crack from it just being in my backpack, no idea how it got damaged. Once I removed the protector the screen was fine! Needless to say this brand has saved my screen and wallet from a hefty $$ screen repair. For iPad Pro 11” So far, it works really well with the pencil. It does have a smooth surface so it may take a bit of time to get used to writing on it, but I don’t mind (I take notes and edit PowerPoints etc). It does have a bit of glare but not too bad, I sacrifice a little glare for protection. It was fairly easy to install, make sure that you work in a room free of dust! Overall: great glass screen protector for your iPad Pro.

Over the past 5 years of buying screen protectors for my iphones and now my ipad, I have found that this brand is always the best. I've tried other brands, but they are never as good as this one. It is very high quality and it's a great value for the price!! It's easy to install, no bubbles, and they give you a cloth, dry and wet wipes, dust stickers, and a card for pushing out any air bubbles. When I was installing, I had two small dust particles that sneaked their way under the screen protector, however, I was able to lift up the screen protector TWICE to remove them and both times it laid back down perfectly flat with no air bubbles. I have never noticed any issues with the touch screen sensitivity; it feels the same and honestly I forget I even have a screen protector on. I was also able to put a protective case on my ipad with no issues. It doesn't get much better than that! I strongly recommend this brand for all your screen protector needs.

Like many, I am aware of the myriad reports of touch sensitivity impairment with various glass screen protectors in addition to issues with the Apple Pencil. I just installed this screen protector this morning (used the humid bathroom method to keep dust to a minimum), and thus far, I have had absolutely no issues whatsoever. My iPad continued recognize my facial features after the install, though I reset Face ID nonetheless. Touch sensitivity works just fine, and I have not had to resort to keeping a finger on the side of the iPad chassis (have been reports that this is one means of maintaining touch sensitivity). The iPad registers every stroke of my Apple Pencil without issues, though it is a slippery feel. This is something to which I have already grown accustomed, and it is not a “deal breaker” per say. For others who prefer a “paper” feel with its intrinsic resistance when writing, this may not be the best screen protector for you. Keep in mind that it is a highly reflective screen protector, as are most glass protectors. While you lose some of the antireflective benefit of Apple’s screen coating with this overlay, you prevent scratches and micro-scratches to the iPad’s screen itself. This is well worth the tradeoff in my humble opinion. Positives: Very easy to install, seemingly high quality (just received and installed), maintains screen clarity (unlike matte finish protectors), screen sensitivity, Apple Pencil sensitivity, and Face ID ARE NOT COMPROMISED. Negatives: Very glossy screen protector (common to tempered glass protectors in general), very slippery feel when writing.

UPDATE: I just replaced the first screen protector that I put on just under 18 months ago. That first one had taken a beating as I had dropped my Ipad multiple times, and my ipad is actually warped from carrying it in my fully packed backpack. The protector glass was broken in half and badly craze cracked, but it stayed firmly attached, and the IPad screen is still in perfect condition. The original protector came off in multiple pieces. I can only surmise that without the protector glass, my ipad screen would have cracked long ago. I will certainly purchase more of this brand in the future. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Order arrived quickly and was well packaged in a foam board box. Two protective glass screen protectors as advertised. Each protector is in its own protective pouch, and there is one additional small envelope with the installation accessories (instructions, warranty registration instructions, wet and dry cleaning wipes, dust removal stickers, cardboard bubble removal wiper, and a cloth cleaning wipe). Installation is fairly easy as long as you thoroughly clean and dry the IPad glass to remove all oils and dust. You have to take your time positioning the protector using the two side tabs so as to prevent getting finger oils and dust under the protector. It takes patience to rub all the air bubbles out to the edges, but I had the installation done in about ten minutes. Just make sure you position the rectangular edge cutout on the same side as the camera. I have installed multiple screen protectors and this one was easy and among the best. I highly recommend this product! I rated the anti-glare as five stars, but the protector is shiny glass just like the IPad glass. I see no difference in the reflectivity of the protector versus the IPad glass. If you are sitting with a bright light or window at your back you will see the reflection, but that is preferable to a matt screen that would “muddy” the resolution.

Our daughter needed a new iPad for school (it's required). We went with the iPad Pro since it will be used to within an inch of it's life ;-) I did some research on the screen protectors and settled on the amFilm. There were some reviews that mentioned touch screen problems which made me nervous, but we thought it was worth a try. I cleaned the screen thoroughly, twice (maybe 3 times) and made sure to do the install somewhere with really bright and contrasty light... this way I could see even the tiniest lint or dust particles and get them off just before I put the protector on. It went on super smooth, only a couple of bubbles and they worked right out with the included card. I immediately checked the touch screen - trying it in several apps and all across the screen to make sure there were no issues. So far so good! The screen looks tack sharp, it seems to be much better at repelling fingerprints and smudges than I could have hoped for, and the touch screen is working just fine. We coupled it with the Logitech Slim Folio Pro keyboard and my daughter has already been using it for summer assignments and it's been perfect. Absolutely no complaints. Great purchase. If we run into any issues later I will be sure to post, but at the moment, this product has been 100% as advertised. I will stress - I really believe being extra diligent when prepping the screen, is key. I used lens cleaner that I use on my camera lenses (what I do for living btw) and then used the included cleaner. Also, doing the install in daylight (good window light) where you have some high contrast across the screen so you can easily see any lint, hair or dust particles, will really help ensure a good install. I also appreciate their follow up email to make sure our install process went well. If we add another iPad to the household, we will purchase another amFilm Glass Screen Protector.

I purchased this product after purchasing a folio keyboard and wanting to protect the screen from any micro scratches when the product was closed (so I cannot say how this would hold up to heavy impact/damage). The installation was very easy and lined up perfectly. I did use a steamy bathroom to install it and there are no dust particles at all under the screen. Once the screen is on and adheering to the surface it did take some time for it to fully lay and I did have some trouble getting all of the bubbles out initially. After spending about 10 minutes using a gift card to spread them out (the cardboard slider they give breaks down quite easily) there were 2 or 3 small bubbles that then went away on their own within 48 hours. The screen is pretty seamless, you cant really tell its on there without looking closely, the pencil works perfectly with it (I take a lot of written notes and draw diagrams for school without issue), and the face recognition is not affected in anyway. Overall, I could not be happier with the look and function of this screen protector!
