Great Quality Gravel Looks Lovely in the Tank
I bought this 10kg bag of Marina gravel to refresh the look of our fish tank, and I’m really happy with it. The grey and black mix gives the aquarium a clean, modern look, and it really makes the colours of the fish stand out. The gravel is a nice size not too fine that it clogs the filter, but not too chunky either. I gave it a rinse before putting it in the tank (as you always should), and it didn’t leave much dust at all. Covered the base of our 100L tank nicely with some left over. Our little bottom feeders seem happy with it too. Would definitely buy again when we set up another tank.

Minimal cleaning before use
Good sized substrate used straight out of bag with just one rinse in water. Added to aquarium filled with water and no cloudywater. Looks good in aquarium. Would highly recommend

It really black but....
These black gravel really black but they are actually white gravel coated with black colour. Some broke into half when washing and they are white in the middle

Excellent value for money and very clean, I washed it and there wasn't any dust/silt. I love the black colour too!

Very smooth and very clean
This gravel is very smooth all around the edges, so not sharp at all which is perfect for my corydoras who are bottom feeders and whose mouths can be damaged by sharp gravel. Lovely and shiny, easy to clean hardly and dirt. The gravel is also a nice size, not tiny little bits. Very pleased with the quality.

100% recommend just make sure to wash first
I use this in both my tanks, make sure you wash the gravel before you put it in the tank or it will fog up and you will have to do multiple water changed to clear it out, its a decent size and gives it a dark look at the bottom of the tank, all my plants have managed to root through it to soil so 100% recommend

Perfect for my 12 gal aquarium! No prep necessary, just rinsed it under the sink and it was ready to be used!

I was using this gravel for drainage in indoor plant pots. It worked very well. No dust, not dirty, therefore easy to work with, and perfect for the purpose.
