Ovomaltine Crunchy Cream 380g

When visiting my son and fiancée I tried Ovomaltine. I was hooked. On crackers and apple it's really good. If you're watching you calories, one dessert spoon satisfies the sweet cravings that most of us get at night. In my opinion it's better than Nutella. Great find!!

I looked for this stuff in England, Amsterdam, and Turkey but to no avail. My cousin brought me some from Switzerland, but it still cost her $14 from there, so $14.99 with Amazon Prime ain't half bad! I eat this spread straight out of the jar when I need a "fix" -- it's like the Nutella version of the inside of a Ferrero Rocher chocolate. Soooo good!! There's nothing like it in the US!

Thanks to a recommendation of a Swiss coworker during one of my past work visits to Switzerland, I was able to discover this Ovomaltine product. Ovomaltine is the Swiss version of Ovaltine and is available in many delicious forms in Switzerland (whether it be this spread, chocolate bar or even the original milk drink powder). I was very happy to be able to source it here in States due to the fact that I don't always have coworkers traveling across the Pond often enough. I like it because it is not super sweet and has a nice crunchy taste. I just eat it with a spoon right out of a jar (my morning sweet award). This product is made for the Swiss market in Belgium, but I recently read they would start up production in Switzerland due to its popularity there.

wish this was sold in America, only paid 4 Euros in Europe grocery store, $15.00 in the USA imported. Price is very high, product as good as in Europe.

Ovomaltine Crunchy Cream met my expectation and is the exact same Product I use when in Europe. I love this Stuff. I also purchased the Ovomaltine made in Switzerland, and it is so much better than the "Ovaltine" Product I purchase here in the US. I love the malty, slightly chocolate flavored Taste.

Update: They replaced the 3 bottles with new ones that have January 2018 as expiration date. Moving forward, I hope they will always check the expiration date before shipment. WORST PURCHASE EVER!! Expected date of delivery is March 2017, expiration date is March 2017. It arrived 2 weeks early so I have 2 weeks to finish 3 bottles. Gee thanks.

Mit Ovomaltine frisst du nicht nur besser sondern auch mehr!! Scherz beiseite, das Zeug schmeckt verdammt nochmal einfach super! Am meisten liebe ich das Müsli und der Brotaufstrich hier, der ist für mich vor jedem Marathon und Berglauf ein MUSS. Immer wenn es einen Wettkampf gibt, gibts bei mir Ovomaltine und Toast um leicht an den Start zu gehen. Ich mag nutella auch sehr gern aber das hier schmeckt mir besser und ich finde es auch nicht ganz so süß - ist natürlich wie immer Ansichtssache. Ich mag's jedenfalls und kleiner Tipp, ihr müsst das Cruncymüsli probieren - ich muss mich immer beherrschen nicht gleich die ganze Packung zu futtern! Und da ich mich selten beherrsche, werde ich mein Läuferidealgewicht von 70kg nie erreichen und lebe getreu dem Motto - 80kg sind auch schön!!

Un prodotto introvabile in Italia, conosciuto grazie ad una amica che è stata in Svizzera dove l'ha acquistato per noi, ora grazie ad Amazon posso ordinarlo tranquillamente online. Da provare almeno una volta nella vita!

Came earlier than stated and nice big jar. The expiration date does not go out for another year which is great.

Esta crema de chocolate es de las mejores que existen. Similar a la Nutella pero con trocitos de cereales crujientes, que le dan su toque especial y hace que sea deliciosa. Es una lástima que sea tan cara, y con los gastos de envío el precio se dispara, pero para una ocasión especial merece la pena.

Rather pricey. Would order on a regular basis if the product was cheaper. I understand the cost is higher as item from abroad.
