It's a Stanley Fatmax, tried and true. Durable, strong spring, great quality. As advertised. I've been using the bigger ones in construction for years, this 16' is for home

Deducted one star because the "Made in USA" is purposely large, while the "with global materials" is much smaller and mixed with other text. Deceptive. The product is built well for casual use. Not sure if it would hold up with daily jobsite use.

Great portable tape measure
Wish it was a little longer but great for a compact tape measure to have. In particular I am a fan of having both metric and imperial and would refuse to use one without metric measurements.
