Ronald Bruner Jr Artist Series Drumsticks

For reference, I usually play a Vic Firth 8D, so the length is the same and the diameter is very close to the same as my usual. I play lots of pop/funk/rock/80s and less heavy stuff, and I find the dimensions of these to make for pretty great all-around sticks (I'm fine using them across a diverse setlist where I used to change sticks a lot based on the song). The finish is slick, so not great if you sweat a lot when you play, but they feel nice in my hands. I also really liked the tip shape...it's a smaller bead, not quite round but only slightly oval shaped. I would call the taper "medium", and they don't feel heavily weighted either for power or rebound, but somewhere in the neutral zone. I got them for a gig where I was playing heavily lit with blacklights, and they glow like the sun under blacklight. All in all, great sticks! Like other Zildjian sticks I've had, the logo wears off pretty quickly, but I don't care about that. I would recommend them!

These seem to be nice sticks around a light 5a size with a great gloss coating. I find that the gloss coat gives me more grip on the stick and feels nice in the hand. They are also very bright neon orange, not red. An added benefit is that when you are not using these sticks for playing drums, you can put them to use for directing traffic!

Purchased these sticks for my son. They came sooner than i was told they’d arrive which was great because my son had a gig. He plays with a group and says they are perfect weight and size. They give off a good sound.
