So far so good. Does what it supposed to
So far so good. Does what it supposed to. Lets me access my DOD sites from home. Didn't even had to use the drivers. Windows 8.1 did just fine with the drivers that were already installed on my pc.

A good product & friendly customer service.
I'm using Win10 & had no problems at all with a quick install. Don't know if they were necessary but I loaded the drivers that came on the mini-CD. The mini-CD also includes a user's guide. I also received an email from the company that gave a few helpful hints and urging me to contact them if there were any problems whatsoever. So I have to give some special credit to the customer service department. I don't know that I'll ever need but they do show they care about the customer and it sounds like they really want the customer to be satisfied. BTW, I'm a gov't worker & needed the card so that I can more easily check my email at home or on the road. It works like a charm to meet my needs!

Works just fine for my mil websites.
My spouse purchased the DS-C303 model so that I could access my military CAC required website. At first I was having issues getting it to work, but after a little trial and error with the DOD cert requests I managed to get it to work. Remember to install the driver 1st (inside the cardboard part of package), once that's done, then pug in the reader. Give it a few minutes to find the correct updates. For you DOD personal, put in your ID and give it a couple minutes to find the correct driver for that, then should be good to go.

Not Mac OS X 10.11 (El Capitan) Compatible!
I am sorry to report that despite advertising itself as "Mac friendly", this CAC reader is NOT compatible with OS X El Capitan 10.11. The driver, which was last updated for 10.8 (Mountain Lion), will not even download (http://www.digiscantech.com/#!downloads/c1xmy). Further, the company has no way to contact them except an email system that does not even confirm receipt of your query (http://www.digiscantech.com). Not sure how I would even know if they know of my concerns or are planning to issue an updated driver? I hope this review will motivate them to provide either some guidance or an update to their product. Otherwise, I will have to return it.
